Black Widow Spider: Promising APC project of Thailand

Thailand is testing an armored personnel carrier, unofficially known as the Black Widow Spider. This is an 8x8 wheeled armored vehicle fully designed and developed by Thailand’s Defence Technology Institute. According to Thai defense officials, the new Black Widow Spider has the same technological level in terms of mobility, protection and firepower compared to other similar modern combat vehicles currently available in the world.
The Black Widow Spider was first revealed publicly in 2013. It was reported that a British company Ricardo was involved in the development of this armored vehicle.
