The guy who wanted to chage his age. Not only is it nonsense but also using transgender people as an example made him look worse. I know trans people, they don't change their gender they change appearance to match their gender. That guy is just some bigot and managed to let the world know in the process of trying to be clever.
Watchmojo, why did you have to mention that the guy suing Nike and Jordan that he ha a criminal record? Totally uncalled for, ignorant, unprofessional, unrelated to the story, as well as something else, but I will leave it at that. Shame on you!
If you look at the hot coffee McDonald’s lawsuit she was right. Their coffee was way hotter than safe drinking temp and they knew it. She originally just asked they pay her medical bills and they told her too bad. So she sued 🤷🏻♀️
I was working for Wendy’s in 2005 right around the time of the chili finger thing. People would come through and ask for a chili hold the finger and would be buying fake fingers to put in chili to prank people. It was crazy but eventually the story went away after the lady was exposed as doing it herself.
@@jenniferhcsmith-5586 yeah we know and apparently nowadays people will make movies and music about or from anything! Which is sad, desperate and pathetic like for example I recently found out there was a movie called Karen, basically a movie about people who act like a Karen or any other name that they give individuals who act a certain way💁🤦♂️ and I’m just thinking wow The things people do for money😑😞🤦♂️🙄
This is missing the lawsuit of a mother and 2 year old child going to Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights then suing the theme park for emotional distress that got laughed out of court. HHN minimum age is 13! 😂
I think there was a time a woman sued Chips Ahoy cuz their slogan was "100 Chips delicious" so she went out her way to count the number of chips and there wasn't 100 chips so she sued for false advertising
You forgot about the lawsuit Chambers vs God. He wanted to sue God because of all the widespread destruction and terrorism. Honestly one of the most ridiculous lawsuits I've ever heard.
Not a law suit really but there was an inmate in NY who argued that he should be released from his life sentence because he had been declared dead for 4 minutes after suffering a heart attack. As far as he was concerned his life sentence had been served.
I heard about a case in The States, that a woman sued a furniture store after she tripped there and broke her leg. The ridiculous part is that she tripped on her own kid and she won.
The guy should have got the HARRIER- JET because when the commercial 1st aired there was ZERO fine print saying that the jet Wasn't a "legitimate" offer
But from what I understand, he wasn't suing her for the texting, per se. He was suing her because she left and went home, and that she should therefore reimburse him for the date, lol. Like he was buying her time. The dude sounds like a grade-A douche.
Science may some day prove me wrong, but until then, I DO believe that merely "identifying" as something else (age, etc) doesn't actually (physiologically) change anything. And is, in fact, all one in the same.
Honestly I think the Pepsi points one the guy did have a point I mean sure it was in the commercial but in 1989, PepsiCo Inc., the maker of Pepsi, acquired 17 submarines, a cruiser, a frigate, and a destroyer from the Soviet Union. Sooo I think they should of given him his fighter jet.
In general, most of these remind me of "I'll Sue Ya" by Weird Al. The Uber one seems suspicious to be on the list since it wasn't settled putting into question whether the wife had valid argument.
Junior Mints like most candy is sold by WEIGHT, not volume… she basically sued them for using a box that was too big for the candy it held as listed on the label.
His only point of favor, the girl was being rude.....but suing over the cost of dinner and a movie? He could've just complained on social media and it would've been less idiotic
the woman suing google maps should be #1, nothing is more stupid! I imagine all her sarcastic friends telling her: "yeah, this car wasn't on google maps! you should sue them!"
By some of these accusations i Should have sued the cookie company whose commercials advertised there would be a big party when you bit into one . I was a very sad child when I discovered a party didn't magically happen.
Quite frankly, I think Jack A** defamed his own character by changing his name to Jack A**. #4 - I'm surprised the couple didn't counter sue. They certainly would have had a case. I'm just glad the lawsuit backfired for the judge.
The theatre lawsuit isn't ridiculous. I have had quite the amount of fellow theatre visitors that disrupted the presentation (once someone even made a selfie).
And then, there's the random jerk who has a phone screen that is so bright it practically blinds everyone else in the theater. I encountered that problem a few years ago, back when the final "How to Train Your Dragon," movie was released. Thankfully, the person shut off their phone when enough people complained about it.
Bruh, suing a date because she didn't return because you wanted to watch a superhero movie instead of A) Rescheduling to a better night, or B) picking a date appropriate movie. Has to be the lamest thing you can do, you picked a shitty movie choice (for a date) you told her to leave with her phone instead of rescheduling.. to me, it sounds like a petty lawsuit

I wouldn't be surprised if you will actually be able to change your birthday in the future. It sounds ridiculous, but men can breastfeed apparently, so anything is possible as long as you don't hurt someone's feelings.
Wait! So I can't change my age because it's documented yet I can change my gender even though it's documented and literally seen. This world is finished😂
Someone please please help me with this… are the two guys who commented on the Michael Jordan “look-a-like” lawsuit the same two guys who played in the movie “Dirty Thirty”? They look like the guys at the party who thought they were tripping on lsd and woke up spooning on the couch..
In all honesty, I think the guy that sued Pepsi for the Harrier was absolutely right. Pepsi should have reimbursed him and paid some extra for false advertising.
Correct. The jet was offered with no disclaimer. That is serious nonsense. Courts siding with corporations based on rulings of LOL/JK is proof we don't have a legit legal system.
This one's not mentioned in the video, but it is ridiculous: a man by the name of Dalton Chisholm got so fed up with the customer service of Bank of America, that he felt he deserved "1.784 billion trillion dollars" plus an additional $200,164,000 "just because" and he wanted all of that the very next day. One passenger, who also was not wearing a seat belt, died at the scene. The other passenger, who was wearing a seat belt, walked away. In the 1980s I heard a story about a man in the US who was caught in a landslide, with the result that the new suit he was wearing was ruined. He filed with his insurance company for the loss of the suit, only to be told that his insurance policy did not cover losses caused by Acts of God, and that a landslide was an Act of God. His case was likely dismissed because under the law an act of god is not technically an act of god. At common law, an overwhelming event caused exclusively by natural forces whose effects could not possibly be prevented (e.g., flood, earthquake, tornado). In modern jurisdictions, "act of God" is often broadened by statute to include all natural phenomena whose effects could not be prevented by the exercise of reasonable care and foresight. Well with the date one while it’s stupid she was also incredibly rude. No you don’t need to text your friend in fact you should’ve left the theatre to deal or have your phone off.
How about the lawsuit against Universal Studios in Florida for being too scary? Here is the thing, Halloween Horror Nights is only for those who want to be scared!

Mojo doesn’t care about facts. Just gotta make some money
Yeah they had been warned by health and safety before that their coffee was too hot and they were told to fix it.
But what would she have said if her coffee was cold instead of hot?
I remember that court case I learned it in my old Business Law and Management class in the 11th grade.
I understand she needed skin grafts to treat her burns. Far worse than just spilling hot coffee on yourself.
"Uber Ruined My Marriage!" LMFAO! I can't stop laughing!
For the Junior Mints, NO! The weight is printed in the box. C'mon!
The product usely settles after awhile.
Honestly, this is the most entertaining & most informative video you guys ever made. Good job WatchMojo. 😁👍
"my wife found out I was cheating on her, but rather than take responsibility, I'll blame Uber"
Because some people prefer to blame others rather than admit their wrongdoing...
The hot McD's coffee lawsuit was the real deal.
The lady spilled it on her lap, and needed skin grafts for the burns she received.
what’s even crazier is she just asked for her medical bills be covered, she refused so she sued!
And she won 34 million
@@bout-bidness5699 It was more like $600,000
The Junior Mints case could've also been solved based off the fact you're buying weight and not size

Mark my words: 10 years from now, the “trans-age” lawsuit’s placement on this list is going to age depressingly badly.

Don't despair. The pendulum is swinging slowly back and sanity will return, albeit slowly

I’m so glad that people stopped vilifying the hot coffee lady. That poor woman got 3rd degree burns on her lady parts, she should own McDonald’s.
They DID sell coffee ridiculously and dangerously hot but she DID put it between her legs. Who puts a cup of hot coffee between her legs?
