i reccomend magma+ acid because it gives more 20% damage on corroding targets, fire gives 10%.
and you have more time to hit, 10 sec, fire has 5 sec of dot

On the the boots chest and helmet i use variscite and larimar, and the insanity gives power, more power than using only the gem that gives power

does knockback affect damage?
Yes when the move have knockback, it gives more damage but the potential of you hit another attack for a combo after the knockback is lower, also is good using knockback it make your enemy miss attacks
