    Hello thansk very very much. Small question: Is it wrong if my mark is not exactly in front from my perspective like in yours case. In my case is almost on side. From upper view yours is straight on 6 hour in my on 8/9 on left side.

      Hi! It might happen mark is not exactly in front. There is no problem if so.

      @heatingsolutions123 Ok. Thanks a lot. Just for my understanding: Mark position dosnt matter at all? For example can be on back, some on side? All idea is to find it and line up it with number (1-7) or N we want?

      @@kristofp3350 Mark position should be visible from front or side. Main idea is a you say, to line it up with number 1-7 or N. N is factory setting, so marking will be lined to N

    Very useful…. I was wondering how to get equal flow for each circuit, especially for my system where I don’t want stagnant water in a loop

    Don't the actuators control the flow rate according to the heat required by the system?
    Or they just open/close?
    I am looking at the Emmeti control T and it doesn't have any flow rate regulation, hence it probably needs some flow valves anyway
    Apparently the flow rate is length of pipe/40 - so it depends what is the length of the pipe. I have a schematic of mine so I know what is there.
    The example you show 100m to be 2.5 is 100/40 which is 2.5l/min

      In case you got manifold without presetting you can use Danfoss Icon or new Icon2 automatics. It has automatic circuit balancing with actuators. Icon controller has PWM control signal. It allows to "hang" actuator on middle position, not only ON/OFF. One thing you should check is it allowed to use PWM signal with your actuators using Icon control: th-cam.com/video/52wKnb-YC9A/w-d-xo.htmlsi=tGYU5j58JU1X-97k

      @@heatingsolutions123 why are the flowmeters installed at the top and not bottom?
      I had an issue where the actuator's plastic broke, exposing it and the bleeding valve went and when I went to check the system, it was live since water dripped on the actuator because it was at the on the bottom section of the manifold

    Do the actuators just open and close or do they regulate the flow? Just wondering how this works in the real world.

    • @heatingsolutions123
      @heatingsolutions123  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It depends on room controller. Usually simple ON/OFF thermostats just open/close actuator +/- 0.5C from set point. More advanced are Danfoss Link, Icon 24V, Ally controllers... They can regulate flow to each circuit with pulse wide modulating signal the same ON/OFF actuator. In this case actuator may "modulate" and have more precise room control.

    Some folks do this balancing on the flow meters, by taking the red caps off and setting the flow on the setting wheel. Is it a mistake ?

    • @heatingsolutions123
      @heatingsolutions123  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Setting on flow meters is another way of circiut balancing. Where do they get needed flow to set? Setting all flow meters at same flow would be a mistake if circuits are not same length.

    Hello, shouldn't the liter adjustment be made on the glass tube? Also, should they all be on when making adjustments via the tube?

    • @heatingsolutions123
      @heatingsolutions123  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you know exactly how much litres/min you need for each cirquit you can adjust with flow meter. Another way is using presetting as on video.

      To open flow meter. Turn flow meter counter clockwise. Flow meter thread should be visible.

    Thanks .. can you set a valve to have a minimum opening all the time ? I want to have a minimum flow in the heating system even when the heating actuator is off..

      Doubt it, I'd think the actuators are on/off. Why would you want that?

    • @heatingsolutions123

      With presetting it is not possible. Valve works separately from presetting. Only way is to something hand made:) Like washer on needle....

    first of all, this is great video. i have a question. mine makes an extremely loud banging sound that lasts around 5 min when heating zones come on flow meter which keeps moving up and down.
    This does not happhen often like 3 times in 3 month. do you have any sugestions.

    • @heatingsolutions123

      Probably wrong flow direction. Manifold with flow meters should be on supply, manifold with actuators on return. Here is a video on this topic: th-cam.com/video/5hurO6e1xlc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=j7ddpy74ctndCtc5

    Thank you for your presentation.
    How would this be achieved if you did not know the length of the circuits ? E.g On a system that has been previously fitted, no drawing are available, unknown pipe spacing etc ?
    Thank you

    • @heatingsolutions123

      In this case an option could be to open all circuits. Wait at least half a day. Measure return flow temperature from each circuit and try to make it the same. Temperature can be measured with infra red thermometer directly from return pipe. It takes time and patience.
      Using Danfoss Icon 24V, Danfoss Icon 2 commissioning is not so important. Systems has automatic balancing functionality. It can balance circuits using thermal actuators mounted on manifold. No drawing, no pipe length, no pipe spacing is needed. In case you got some very very short circuits Icon controller may ask to reduce flow on it.

    If heated water first enters the return manifold which the actuators are mounted , and water after completing the circuit gets into the manifold with flowmeters(glass tubes)
    Does this kind of application have any drawbacks or risks while the heating system operates ??

    • @heatingsolutions123
      @heatingsolutions123  ปีที่แล้ว

      No good. Flow meters will not work on reversed flow. Integrated valves on return manifold if mounted with actuators will be making "knocking" noise while closing. You should dismount manifolds on a right way. Supply manifold with flow meters, return manifold with actuators.
