- This video contains an interview on the birth circumstances, early years, and the start of the Celestial Church of Christ Ministry. He also spoke about raising the dead and the topic of speaking in tongues.
This interview of Prophet Samuel Bilewu Oshoffa was made in the early 1980s and was shown on the then NTA Channel 7, Tejuosho. The interview was conducted by Mr. Modupe Alade, a veteran TV Journalist.

I am not a member of Celestial Church of Christ but having listened to the founder SBJ, I have a lot of respect for the church. His talks all based on his encounter with God and how he was called in a unique way. He feared God and referenced Him only. He was a true man of God and may his soul rest in peace.

Even if Mary was a very nice person, it is wrong in Catholicism and wrong in any sect to venerate or worship/celebrate. I wish other people could understand this fact! I’m a member and from all my personal studies, thoughts and experience, if one is to speak in truth, this is being a Muslim.. being a Muslim means you submit to your Lord on your face and believe in all the prophets of The One without discrimination.. Celestial is The New Muslim( I won’t say Islam because that term entails some other doctrines peculiar to the Messenger with that Message, as there are peculiarities with other messengers of the past too so each messenger is distinct but still speaking about The One).. And even Prophet Mohm’d spoke about how Islam would be at the end of days, He said ISLAM started as a strange thing and would return to being a strange thing at the end and here it is manifesting..but people are dogmatic, bias, sentimental and also idolize all these messengers.. We serve Humanity through the strength of God, in our calling, we need calmness and patience and that can only be found in our passion with the help of Holy Spirit. Our passion often comes from our Talents, our natural gifts, what we do with ease and then learn more about it, develop it and be organized with the Strength of God - 1 Peter 4: 10-11, Ps. 18:32, Ps 22:19.
To serve God, we will not mind the circumstances and be ready to bear what comes with it in Faith that God is Able and Faithful to take us through to His Glory. Halleluyah.

All those things you mentioned are nothing but ordinary materials used for prayers whenever the need be, they are not the source of power of Celestial Church of Christ, capital NO. But the source of Power of Celestial Church of Christ is JESUS CHRIST Himself, those materials you mentioned are practically used inform of proverb to entreat God for answering prayers and not by force but it rather depends on your faith thanks.

Sorry Sir, true servants of God never beg money from anyone
I knew him as far back as 1971 ever before he moved to Nigeria. He was just visiting Nigeria (Makoko parish) the only Celestial Church in Nigeria as at that time that I could remember. Initially, I took him as an ordinary human being but later When papa started to preach the gospel I began to examine him and was without that knew that he was not just a man but someone specially sent to this earth by God.
No...01...He was never educated in any form but he used to correct those interpreters. Not only that at all times, he would give some bible passages out for people to read out and was able to tell if the passge was not right; he would tell you it was not the right passage. How then did he know it was wrong?
Papa did not attend any classroom to know ordinary ABC OR ABDEEFGGB
Papa Oshoffa was a very humble man, he used to call men my friend and all women "ayaba"-meaning "Queen" I am surprised that he had only 34 wives I thought they were more than that. He was too good as a human being. He was never charging anything for all the healings. I am still a living witness and I can still talk much about him but I am no more in Nigeria. In case anyone wants to know about him I am now in Dublin Ireland.
