Thank you so much for the videos. Ive setup a simulator with 12 different SD that are in the appropriate position and mimic the layout of the actual aircraft. Ive spent approx $700 with Flight Panels, which are really good, but am limited by their choice of aircraft profiles. The Guenseli profiles add a lot of options. Definitely going to donate to him.
Many thanks for this latest tutorial/video. I started my sim journey more than 20 years ago I'm now 72 and if you asked me my flying hours maybe 200 hours. The rest of the time tuning / building / buying hardware with my pension. This answered a lot of my queries as I am now downloading MSFS 2020 for the third time. Mastered the Behringer, fighting a bit with the StreamDeck and trying to fit it all in with my saitek controls and thrustmaster airbus hardware in the gaps. We are never happy always tuning scenery / FPS/ and building the perfectly tuned PC. ??? But Thank -😊😊 You Impart Your Knowledge Selflessly
You have 8 years more experience than me, but I am gald this helps a little. As for tuning, this is something I gave up on. Chasing the FPS is not for me. If it runs smooth to my eyes then I am happy. Obviously the Vulan upgrade on XPLane was a game changer for me, and I am hoping that DX12 will be as big on MSFS, but I doubt it.
Thanks for your sharings. I fly C172 only with StreamDeck, for the autopilot page, the profile only has HDG hold, VS hold, ALT hold etc buttons, I can't change the headings, VS, Alt etc, No 0-9 number buttons in this page/profile to input different headings, VS, Alt etc. Not like radio profile page, I can select number buttons for different frequencies. How can I realize this function for autopilot with StreamDeck buttons? I mean for example, if I have number buttons, I can press button 3,6,0 and then press HDG hold, then the plane will change the heading to 360, is my understanding correct? Thanks for your help.
Hello. Do you have any idea how to toggle the GPS/NAV switch found in many GAs that often syncs with the CDi softkey in the Garmin GNS OR GTNs ? I'm using a Mk2 and an XL and have Axis and Ohs AND FSUIPC. Can't find anything close.
Any tips for getting the port settings correct? I have yet to be able to configure my firewall settings to allow for AAO to communicate with my Streamdeck.
Hello, Love the videos. Question? Can I launch MSFS 2020 from a button on the Stream Deck. I think I'm doing most of the config correctly but I can't locate the MSFS.exe or launcher. If it can be done can you let me know how please. Thanks Steve
@@FlightSimandOtherStuff Orite got it. i somehow manage to select the enable web API on 9080 but the stream deck wont interact when in game. any idea why?
Hi Mark. Do you have X Plane? Just wondering if you know how to configure the Stream Deck or X Touch Mini with that software. Thanks in advance. PS, great to see you back.
Of course, I used leo bondar boards in the past, the advantage of the Stream Deck is the displays change for the setup. My old set up had dedicated buttons for functions, which meant a lot of buttins that were not needed on some aircraft but hasd to be there for others. Changing the functions of a physical button box is no problem, its remembering which bnutton does what :-)
This guy is a fantastic instructor of this app. I hate that he’s not streaming anymore. Hope he’s okay.

Nice to know there are other pensioners flying MSFS. I am now 69 and getting to grips with it.

@@bluemike52 I dont qualify for my pension for another 3 years :-( not that i will be able to retire. At least this keeps my mind interested 🙂
Keep flying and enjoying this great community
Just install SDeck on my pc. I wanted to fly right away and your video help. Thanks
Thank you for a very informative video.
Thanks for the input, I am glad it was of some interest 🙂
Can I ask what your thoughts are on the new stream deck + with the 4 multi turn knobs.
Well explained, makes sense :) Thank you for sharing !

Im new to this, but is this not possible within the existing stream deck software with the pilots deck addon? Im just curious. Thanks
Great to have seen your video wich was so clear, explained a lot and now i can use SD profiles...thanks and subscribed!
I have a 15 key version of Stream Deck. Is there a work around to use the XL Profile on that??

Hi, just got my Streamdeck and working on installation, very nice simple video...just one query , how is the default profile created? Many thanks, Jim
OK Got it!!
HI! Its very informative but do i need to use SimCpnnect or FSuipc ?
All you need is axis and ohs. Hope that helps

thankiu very good
Does StreamDeck need to be started and left running as Administrator as well as AAO?
Not as admin but stream deck does sit in the background when it’s installed. There is no impact on the system that I have noticed with this set up
If you do the latest update with AAO do you lose all of your settings or does it just stay the same?
You do not loose anything :-) so you're good to go
@@FlightSimandOtherStuff Thanks
Brilliant thanks 😊
Can you just as easily assign to Button box ? and not Stream Deck buttons ??

Enable Web API greyed out
