The default, combination of filters in my the Wells The One Water Dispenser consists of 1st filter (sediment and pre-carbon) and 2nd filter (UF and post-carbon). I am considering to change the 2nd filter to just post carbon filter once my replacement filter runs out. Given that Singapore’s water supply is generally safe and clean, with the main concerns being sediments (such as rust from pipes) and chlorine (used to disinfect the water), switching to just a post-carbon filter for the 2nd stage makes sense. The post-carbon filter will effectively remove chlorine and any remaining chemical odors or tastes, which should be sufficient for maintaining the already high water quality. By making this change, I would still be well-covered for the typical issues present in Singapore’s water. Additionally, I prefer pH-balanced water to make my coffee and tea, and this setup should still meet those needs.
Great question! A TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) tester measures the overall concentration of dissolved substances in water, including both beneficial minerals (like calcium and magnesium) and potentially harmful impurities. However, the TDS tester doesn't distinguish between the good minerals and the contaminants. So, if the TDS reading decreases, it could mean that both the beneficial minerals and the undesirable impurities have been filtered out. As for minerals in our diet, humans typically get the majority of essential minerals from food, not water. While water can contain trace amounts of minerals like calcium, magnesium, and potassium, the concentrations are usually much lower than what is available in mineral-rich foods.
1. Would you drink the water if it’s really purified from that small water dispenser and telling you it’s healthy? 2. Its a smart & advanced tech water dispenser, common sense of course required piping, you expecting the water reaching the nozzle via Bluetooth / Wireless from your sink pipe?
Hi, does it need an electrical point since it as a digital screen? Also, can you show how the pipes are connected below?
Definitely especially with the hot climate in SG…..The cold water setting is plus point!!!! I loved it after a long day work !!!!!
Also, whats the height from table top to the tip of nozzle?
is yours using the alkaline filter?

Also for the TDS tester how do you know whether its removing the good minerals or not? haha it could be the minerals that decreased

How much
It is slim because of the huge verification water tank is hidden, seemed like piping is require as well. Hence its not slim at all. 👎👎
