This is easily the best part of that debacle. But even then, it's not as cool as the SummerSlam version. The red lights kept getting in the way. No cool closeup of the lantern light that made you wonder if it was the entrance or what. Less of those floating effects as he walked. Not sure if I like LET HIM IN or LET ME IN more. And WE KNOW IT'S BRAY!!! Stop reminding us, right down to his name graphic!!! (I feel they do this to remind people that it's the Funhouse guy in a mask, to appease people who thought he was too scary. I'd take it over taking away the lantern, softening his look, etc. etc,though.)
James Fabiano i was with u at first wit the red lights it did annoy me in the beginning. But when i thought about it it actually brought kind of an atmosphere and nuance to the match and the charachter so i actually changed my mind on it. As for the rest od the fuckin match i just dont get WHY noone can just take a fuckin loss. Like this 50/50 booking may have RUINED the best character they have had in legit 2 decades. Number one if seth rollins has to FUCKING LOSE TO CONFIRM THAT THE FIEND IS UNSTOPPABLE THEN SO FUCKING BE IT! BUUUUUT secondly: THEY NEVER HAD TO MAKE THIS MATCH! The fiend is a dude who doesn’t need a title to be the man in the company and on top of that they coulda legit putnhim up against ANYONE and it woulda worked. They forced this Universal title match on us which would have been ok if they FUCKING HAD HIM DEMOLISH ROLLINS! THEY HAD NO PROBLEM MAKING KOFI LOOK LIKE A FUCKING JOKE 2 DAYS EARLIER!
Haven't related to a TH-cam comment more in years. Precisely my thoughts mate. The red lighting was so gimmicky and unnecessary, might've been cool live but it didn't translate well on screen. He looked like a psycho on Purge night at SS, here he looked like a cheesy 80's horror creature - the darkness with flickers of his face aided by the natural light of the lantern was perfect, all the atmosphere you needed. "Let Him In" was way better, tiny detail but referring to him in the third person gave the character mystic/implied a genuine split personality with Bray speaking to us (i.e. we're letting him in) which is scarier to imagine. And ABSOLUTELY agree with you on calling him The Fiend : Bray Wyatt. Does nothing other than remind people how much they screwed up with the Bray Wyatt character which raises fans expectation levels unnecessarily (which are already extremely sensitive). You'd think they'd want to distinguish the gimmicks as much as possible because it does nothing for The Fiend's credibility aswell, Bray Wyatt was a loser lets be honest. Was still a really cool entrance, but Summer Slam's was definitely better.
I like Let me and Let him in both, because to me, it shows there is a conflict of his personalite's conflicting. With Wyatt's creative mind, The Fiend could be something he stores away and mix it with his Cult character, because that character will eventually comes back, and I could see it doing babyface work.
I like "let me in", it kinda shows that the fiend himself is saying it, rather than "let him in" which feels like someone else is saying it ,it's less impactful IMO.
WWE should hire this guy to do camerawork. Perfect shaky cam and focus on everything but what we were trying to say. Textbook WWE i think u got a future there kid

I have a prediction. WrestleMania this year, that smart crowd 70,000 plus will chant, HURT.....HEAL.....
