  • Sky News take the green parliamentary bench to wild swimmers in Livingston and up Arthur's Seat, overlooking Edinburgh, asking voters about the issues that matter to them.
    We find many people who still want Scottish independence and who won't vote for the SNP this time.
    Polls are showing that Labour could once again become the dominant party in Scotland.

    Asking 'scottish' voters in England's 3rd City of Edinburgh not an accurate representation of Scottishness. Most of the sensible folk realise that Labour and Tories only think a Scottish vote counts when it's for them. The rest of the time neither party could care less. SNP are only real Scottish party. We'll be saying goodbye to free prescriptions, travel, university places, toll crossings if a Westmonster party takes a majority in Scotland

      SNP don't want Scotland independence actually, because they know that they can't find any excuse for their incapability after independence and will lose power soon

    As an English man it would sadden me to see Scotland leave the United Kingdom. I believe we are stronger together. Then again, I thought that about our membership of the EU and look how that turned out.

    English love to,run down Scotland, constant on tv, radio etc. hislop, clarkson on and on. Yet there are loads of them living in Scotland. Edinburgh and St Andrew’s universities are known as the English ones and many business throughout Scotland but especially in the highlands are owned by English who have sold up down south and come to Scotland to buy hoses etc on the cheap. Don’t really mind but it’s when they try to turn Scotland in little England with their blocking of rights of way etc that bugs

    • @justonecornetto80
      @justonecornetto80 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      The Union won't split. The Scottish independence movement is in complete disarray because it has been exposed as utterly corrupt. There would also need to be evidence of a clear majority in favour of independence before any Prime Minister would issue a section 30 order to hold another referendum on the issue and by that I mean at least 60% consistently over a period of two years.
      That will never happen so the Union is quite safe for the foreseeable future.
