TAKA'S vocal range is absolutely insane
Deeper Deeper was composed by Tomoya (Drummer) and Ryota (Bass). Taka wrote the lyrics. I really love their heavier stuff that shows off EVEN MORE of Taka's voice.

Wherever You Are is their MOST popular song and Taka's vocal performance in this version is just something else.
The released a video for the song Let Me Let You Go [Live Documentary Video]. The new album will be released tomorrow and I think they will release a new music video with one song. Would love to see a whole album reaction even without music videos.

『Wherever you are 』is so good！I love it so much！
The first time I heard Taka scream was when I listened to Cry Out. That song was the catalyst for me to become a huge fan. Still one of my favorite songs from One OK Rock to this day.
The official Sonic Frontiers ending theme song “Vandalize” by One OK Rock was dropped one days ago! The official one is not full song, but some are full songs with animated lyric videos.

The one on the official Sonic the Hedgehog channel has a pretty cool trailer it plays the song to, but it only goes to the end of the first chorus. They have a few full versions of the song on One Ok Rock's main channel. They have the original English and a Japanese version (full songs, unedited, with some swear words) and then they also have a video of SEGA's full length edited version (the English version, but with the swear words swapped out for other words). Sega's video has some great visual appeal if you wanted to react to the song "and" game trailer, but if you wanted to react to the full song, choosing to listen to the full length licensed Sonic version would save you the worry of TH-cam hitting the video for swearing.

One of my absolute faves 🤩 the reason he gives Chester vibes is because Linkin Park/Chester is one of their influences/inspirations. They were going to be collaborating, and they were friends. When Chester passed, Taka was invited to perform somewhere I belong with Linkin Park at the memorial concert. Oh those screams!!!! I love this harder side of OOR. Ryota´s bass is really something. I love "Take what you want" . "Wherever you are" "C.h.a.o.s.m.y.t.h", "Clock strikes" "Bombs away", "Be the light" ,"Nothing helps". He sings "Open Arms" with Arnel Pineda. One of my favorite songs cause I used to listen to Journey. Extraordinary.

One of Taka’s biggest inspirations was Chester Bennington. Take What You Want Live at Tokyo Dome was performed right after Chester’s passing and was dedicated to him. Taka is a phenomenal singer! One OK Rock is one of my absolutely favorite bands!

You have to listen to the opening for Ergo Proxy. It has a special place for me. Do yourself a favor- afterwards, watch it along with the opening credits, then listen to the entire uncut version. I think you will be pleasantly surprised, as it also is a departure from metal for an anime show. Totally worth it. The story behind the anime is quite compelling, as well.

My favourite songs by them are: Fukagyaku Replace, Alone, Missing You, Shissō Flame [失踪FLAME], Paradox (song for the Japanese version of The Matrix Resurrections), Hana-0714- [花-0714-], Shūen Requiem [終焉レクイエム], Hiro's First Take of Hyena, and Hiro's cover of See You Again by Wiz Khalifa ft. Charlie Puth

My favorites are "Fukagyaku Replays" and "Missing You". But their song with Nano "Savior of Song" is also worth checking out in my opinion. It was my first hearing them and I was sure it was featuring Taka, it really surprised me o(≧∀≦)o

Hell yeah you should definitely check out My First Story! Would recommend Fukagyaku Replace, Saishuukai Story, Alone, and Reviver. Not a lot of live videos as with OOR unfortunately. Actually think one of the only official ones is a cover of a Pay Money to my Pain song, but that one is definitely worth a watch! The vocalist from that band played a big role in the forming of MFS, came up with the band name, and was a friend of Hiro’s. Unfortunately he died, so the performance is really more a tribute than just a cover.

Man OOR is a band that got me through Uni. Whenever I was studying for my exams I would usually have them blasting in my headphones along with Radwimps, Alexandros and The GazettE. So glad to see you falling in love with these bands that have always gotten me hyped at their brilliance.
Once you listen to them like by album, you'll see that they change up their sound with each album while still being very much ONE OK ROCK and I love it
