Wow :) thanks for posting this video, soooo interesting, and thanks for writing about it, I was going to ask what is the lady playing, but you took care of answering that question. :)
it's named "ütőgordon" wich means something like "strike double bass" or striked cello. I'm sorry if it is still not clear enough, this is the best I can do :-).
@notserp89m & FiveSounds When written down to scores, the rhythm of this dance (called 'lassú magyaros' ie. 'slow hungarian') usually receives uneven time signatures, but in fact there isn't a specific one that perfectly describes it. Its songs can be sung in 4/4 just as well, and many of them are indeed. So I would say it's a 4/4 made asymmetric so as to prevent violating the rhythm of the lyrics.

I though the first long section could be heard id 11/8 [4 + 7 or 4,3,4]. Loved seeing this, thankyou..
Can someone tell me, what is that cello-looking instrument called that the lady is playing? It is very very cool!
Its called a Gardon or Ütőgardon to be more specific.
félelmetes!! Bonifác Zenés.
