  • This episode of the Bug Bounty course we talk about the importance of developing a personal note taking system that supports both hacking and learning. Emphasizing the differentiation between notes taken during hacking activities and those for learning about vulnerabilities. We look at methods for organizing and accessing your notes whether you are into Notion, Obsidian or Vim or even mind maps we'll look at how to integrate your notes with tools like Burp Suite. Creating your own knowledge base you can refer to every time you hack, tailored to individual needs and preferences and refine your own note-taking strategies for successful hacking and learning.

ever since i started structuring my learning notes as if they were meant to be read by other people i started learning so much faster . i didnt even need to look at my notes as often since the process of simplifying things and writing it down made it stick in my memory more i think .

Not sure I see the point of URL into selection plugin. Ctrl + K on a selection already does something similar, then you just paste in the URI of the link into the parentheses.

I like it because it’s a little be quicker for me, I’m used to other apps that have that behaviour without crtl +k

That makes sense. I've gotten so used to doing Ctrl + K followed by Ctrl + V so quickly that I hadn't considered simplifying that. I may have to revisit using this plugin in the future.

Probably nothing, you just need to keep hunting, I personally prefer mobile apps since they aren't tested often, but I've seen other people jump into really complex enterprise software e.g. Salesforce because the attack surface is massive

When they i used to do something before , that doesnt mean a month ago, or a year ago, they are probably talking about years , so its all about consistency. YOU SHOULD HAVE REALISED AND IMPLEMENTED THAT THINKING STYLE ALREADY.........OR YOU WONT ACHIEVE / GET THE GOAL......
