I don't know if it's just me, but I love watching trains as a method of relaxing. Really long American freight trains especially, there is something almost therapeutic about the sight and sound of these things rolling along, especially out in the desert where all you can hear is the train and nature. I remember going down to the National Railway Museum in York recently (an excellent museum by all accounts) and they had an exhibit where there was just a really dark sound-isolated room with a massive screen, and they played loads of clips of trains passing by. I must have spent like half an hour just sat there in silence, with everybody else.
Awesome video! Damn good shots! Liked the one where the two trains met, and especially the really long UP one going around the mountain; badass! And nice red 379 horns too haha
Fantástico! Fantástico! Fantástico! Nossos Irmãos Americanos são muito bons de serviço mesmo; tiro o meu chapéu para eles! Bonitas paisagens, bonitos trens!
Thanks for sharing! Sure would be VERY scary (along with being illegal) to be in the tunnel when the train appears!!! Those paths to the sides of the tracks inside the tunnel are not that wide.

Have to say this is by far the coolest video with that snake of a train crossing under its self. Great job, Thanks for sharing.
Absolutely mind blowing, and seemingly never ending.

Honte aux chemins de fer français qui ont abandonné ou détruit le transports des marchandises. Il est vrai qu'aux USA il n'y a ni CGT ni Sud Rail
