2 year update
I joined the marching band at my university, and it was instrumental in meeting new people. Joining clubs and groups that you are interested helps A TON
This was great. My college experience was a lifetime ago and it wasnt super great. Today, with social media sharing and all-it’s so helpful to get perspective that having insecurities, etc is COMPLETELY normal. Being able to hear some advice, others’ experiences, and someone to relate to would have been hugely helpful. Glad you’re doing it.PS nothing wrong with a “grandma” lifestyle when you’re young 😉👍

you're so genuine and it is making me open up and be okay with where I am at, sophomore year was my breaking point because I was stressing over boys and I still stress over this guy I've liked since high school and I am going to talk to him and call him off for leaving me on read and for being rude to me because I don't deserve this negativity in my life and this guy during my first semester of college fondled me and I reported him to the dean but it took them 7 months to get back at me and I want to drop out of college because I felt unsafe at my college and couldn't focus and got in trouble a lot during my first year that other people felt unsafe with me because of my actions and I wasn't present and didn't try to get in trouble some of the other times.
Im starting my senior year in engineering in 3 weeks!! And it sounds CRAZY😩 that was a lovely video 😘

just started my first year of college!! i am loving it!!!
My college experience so far has sucked. I am a sophomore this year and I haven't made any friends. I'm going to a community college right now to get my AA, so I'm hoping things get better when i get to go to University!
I really loved this video!! I'm going through a thug time at university and in my 'personal' life and watching this video definitely made me feel a little better. I know there's a lot of people going through difficulties but sometimes I feel like there's no way to get out and it causes me a lot of anxiety.

Ann R. Hey! I live in NY. It’s definitely a fast paced environment when living here. Getting used to the train lines and bus lines. (Always plan ahead because the trains are almost ALWAYS) delayed. Get used to the crowds lol. If you’re planning on getting an apartment find a roommate because rent is expensive af here. If you’re dorming at your school, then you’ll save money. A lot of great places to eat as well. Ny is a great place once you get used to the city. Let me know if you have anymore questions.

I never really understood why people want to make so many friends in college tho???I only have 2 best friends and I’m perfectly happy.maybe it’s just my bad experiences making me say this...people being two-faced and backstabbing you is not fun haha
i needed this, being in quarantine at the end of sophomore year is so depressing honestly, i forgot how exciting it is to be in college and experience all those fests and classes and new things happening around all the time and going out on weeknights literally, sleeping at 4 am and waking up 15 mins before class and getting all dressed up in my fav outfits lol
i just miss being in college so much but i honestly despise being sad and anxious and havin friend issues in college. that is the worst part and being quarantined has somehow made me scared to even wanna go back into the pit hole of depression and balancing exams and classes and i dont know how i'll even manage all of it again whenever i go back. i dont even know what i want more, being at home in a comfortable environment and feeling safe or being in college surrounded by stupid people all the time but having lot of fun too....

we are so alike it’s crazy. i just graduated from georgia tech with my chemical engineering degree and am working as a consulting engineer now. I dropped my sorority junior year bc i was never really involved, and i also had an u healthy relationship freshman year, we broke up in the summer, and i entered sophomore year single. But after that i’ve had boyfriends all throughout college. but definitely my biggest regret was not exploring college freshman year and sticking in a bad relationship. i just think it’s funny how similar our experiences were!
