1:12 I keep accidentally skipping the dialogue but now I just realised how much a number the watchers did to hermitcraft that everyone except pearl and X died
(No spoilers for future parts btw just the first 2) No one actually died! Impulse was the most injured one as he was thrown into a brick wall at top speed. He was nocked out until Grian used his powers to heal him waking him up. Impulse would have died if G didn’t help him. He got flash backs to YHS because Tautis was still, barely alive. But that time G could do something. All the hermits were injured. Impulse was hurt the most. The reason no-one else was there when X went against a watcher was because everyone evacuated.
Also I didn’t write this in that last comment but when doc said ‘revived everyone’ he was exaggerating, like how I said impulse was close to death but didn’t, it was a similar situation for a couple other hermits, just impulse was closest to 💀.

So as a runaway watcher Grians rank would typically completely turn itself into a null void and open to another, next strongest in power. However Grian is a watcher known as a ‘greater lord’ (GL) a GL is comparable to that of royalty in this au, he became a GL after he was turned by another GLwatcher these overpowered abilities combining with his admin powers made him able to travel through servers without experienced admins realising (which is how he was hiding himself from X). With this and his reputation for killing numerous watchers as a player made him feared amongst watchers and listeners alike. After an attack caused by the listeners, nearly every single GL watcher was killed except for Grian, as he disappeared all the watchers assumed the “Royal watcher family” to be dead. Watcher lords couldn’t take their place as you need to be turned by a GL watcher to do that. It is considered the highest honour to meet a living GL watcher and is to be given the upmost respect. However newer watchers believe that Grians grown weak and try to challenge him for his position, his status in the “watcher’s encyclopaedia of player data” Grians status changed to runaway as he was neither confirmed dead or alive, but because he never came back and there was no body he was then labeled as such. He’s a target for newer watchers because they all think that runaways wee newer when they ran away and didn’t know the full capabilities of their powers.
