Skye is such a sweet model. Glad I found you. I have a four month old Havanese puppy. About how old are they when they blow the puppy coat and have their adult hair? I'm leaning towards keeping him full coated.

Around 9-12 months old, this is the hardest time but once the adult coat comes through it gets much easier.

All Things Havanese, he's just turned a year old last month and yes, we're in the midst of the throes of him blowing his puppy coat. It has been very challenging, and I'm so glad I've been vigilant brushing his hair everyday, as despite that, he's getting pin mats daily from the dead puppy coat hair tangling in the coat; were it not for the daily care, I couldn't imagine how bad it could been, had I not stayed on top of it. He loves rolling around and being goofy, especially in my lap. It doesn't help with the matting, but it sure makes me laugh with what a goofball he is! Your Havi models are such good sports!
