    The story about killing his wife and exiling his son reminded me of when Constantine the great basically murdered his wife and one of his sons.
    Of course Constantius later topped his dad in the whole murdering family members thing.

    Souds like those who put him down were green with jealousy. He was a successful ruler, and probably rich for himself as well as his city state. No-one to take over though, so they all started quarreling and soon forgot his achievements. Then again maybe not!!!
