Chandithan and Sathau Kalika kot holy sites of Syangja, which honors the Hindu Goddess Bhagwati has its own glorious history. Each year thousands of devotees from various parts of Syangja visit Chandithan to celebrate Navami Puja and Mela. Unfortunately, Navami puja was not celebrated this year. Priest and local from chandithan shed light on its significance.
We were completely exhausted when we reached chandithan but it all felt worth it once we saw panoramic view of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and Machapuchre himal from pashupati mandir.
We pass through Jotisidada and Lampata towards Chandithan. Our two-hour hike to chandithan was full of magnificent views of rice fields and nearby villages.
Chandithan is a perfect and easy destination for anyone looking for a quick and comfy break from the chaotic day to day life. Chandithan is just 2hrs trek and 1 hrs drive from Syangja Bazaar.
