No dramas at all mate super glad my video could be of help thanks eaves for commenting your success always great hearing people save cash and headaches
Legend! Thanks for putting this up, came in handy today when we got out ICC replaced and as I predicted, they didn't transfer over the remote unit, so I had to program our existing remotes. So simple! Thanks again!
Just did it no probs. Did not lock doors before starting. Printed instructions with the ebay fobs don't mention locking doors first; also describe the door lock mechanism cycling as a lock followed by an unlock, which implies that the doors are unlocked to begin with. Cheers.
@FordMercGuy Does this work with ford territory s also cause I know the territory remote only has a lock and unlock button No boot release button but I have a Ba falcon remote that I found and figured would it work still ?
@FordMercGuy it worked programming the remote also would you happen to have a idea or make a video about fixing it but all 3 doors on my territory lock except the driverside rear Any info on why it would be doing it . And also would you know why if it happend to you before all the windows don t work I got all new switches and replaced the fuses reckon its a wire issue?
Hi fluffy, it's very fiddly. From key turn you have to be quick at pressing the demister button. Make sure doors are closed and locked to start with. Good luck mate. Let us know how you go.
Make sure all doors closed, radio off before you start. May take a few attempts, have to press the button 3 x within a few seconds of turning the key. May take a few goes.
Hi mste, it's a little finicky. Make sure doors are all closed and locked, and radio is off to start with.. Try pressing the button the 3x at different speeds, very quick, or medium, or in between etc. Took me a few attempts aswell
Hey mate awesome! It happened to me... I programmed a spare remote from my car to mum's car.. and then what happened was it would unlock and lock both cars at the same time.
So it is not that the remote remembers the cars it is the cars that remember the remote. So what I ended up doing was parking the second car far away and programming the remotes to the car that I wanted it to be talking to. And then the fix was that the other car needs to be put through the learning cycle for its own remote to be paired to and then the car will forget any old remotes and program to the new remotes.
I have Kayhan stereo that has the rear de-mister on the touch screen. Is there a trick to get it to work when there is an aftermarket console installed? Thanks
I'm unsure mate. Perhaps double check the fuse (if there's one? I can't remember) then check the plug connecting to the rear demister wires isn't loose too. Good luck mate
I also have a Kayhan stereo, took my key and FOB to the locksmith in the shopping center and he programmed a new (Programmable) key/FOB for me from the signal out of the original FOB. In other words, you need to buy a new programable FOB which now has retractable keys inside them. I love it, Boot, Doors and central locking and the key flips out of the FOB. Good Luck
I'm personally tried it on one Territory and it didn't work but that car did have some central locking issues elsewhere that might be why it didn't work
I'm pleased to hear it helps a lot of people unfortunately for me it does not work....I have a feeling it may have something to do with my interior light, when I press a button on new remote I hear a faint clicking under dash to the left slightly of the center consul (ute) and the interior light comes on, this does not happen with original remote (which works perfectly) ,got me stumped....has anyone got a suggestion that can help me out.....thanks
Hi Heidi. It does not matter if you don't have the original remote. This method works for any remote you have currently and want to pair with the car 👍
I just bought a BA Falcon and the key fobs on that one was the same thing internal circuitry was flapping around the contact buttons. So I've just ordered a new one from eBay and planning to pair that one to the car
Just make sure the one that you order from eBay is the model that has the internal circuit board because some of the cheap ones is just the empty shell case
I've found on one falcon last month I couldn't get it to work no matter what I tried. Sometimes try the 3 button presses slowly, or another sequence attempt try quicker.. Slightly finicky in my experience
Thanks, finally got it working. Insert key and turn to the first acc within 10 seconds of closing the drivers door. Then press the rear demist three times. The doors will lock and the remote will be programmed. Unlock using the remote.
It's a bit finicky. It may take a few attempts. Be quick at pressing the demister button. Also start making sure all your doors are closed and start with the doors in the locked position. Hopefully you can get it 🤞
Sounds like the car thinks a door is open? I'm unsure. Try pairing it again? Start with all doors closed and all doors locked, then do the pairing sequence, when it works.. Take the key out of the ignition completely then try the remote.
This guide was top notch! just bought a ba but the guy didnt calibrate the second fob he had so very glad i didnt have to get someone else to do it
Awesome mate! Glad to hear the video could be of help.
You are a champion mate , solved my problems in seconds .
God bless you .

Any ideas my friend ? 😊
Thanks brother

No dramas brother take care and drive safe
A locksmith is needed if you don't have at least ONE original working fob.
I hadn't considered this mate I have got lucky with the last view Falcons that I coded remotes to
@FordMercGuy Does this work with ford territory s also cause I know the territory remote only has a lock and unlock button No boot release button but I have a Ba falcon remote that I found and figured would it work still ?
It's worth a try mate unfortunately I don't know off of hand but nothing to lose give it a try!

This saved me so much heartache ford company wanted $400!!!!!!!
Woahh stealership indeed!! It makes you wonder how many people have cheated money out of hey!
Than you. Programed two remotes (you have to be quick).😂
No dramas mate. Yes can certainly be very fiddly with the timing!
Thanks mate
You're welcome mate.
Thanks for the info.
No dramas mate 👊
Hi, what if i dont have old remote or old remote doesnt work?
How do i reprogramm new remote?
Hi mate, it doesn't matter if you have the old remote or old one doesn't work. You can just program a new remote at anytime.
Awesome guide and also your other vids quick and to the point... any idea how to program a remote to my ba if I don't have a remote already? Cheers
Thanks mate. You'll be able to program a remote in the same way, even if you don't currently have a remote.
Cheers. Will give it a try thanks
@@FordMercGuy I have tried numerous times it just wont connect the new remote very frustrating, I only just bought it today from super cheap auto.

Not working pressing the demister three times does nothing

It works for 2005 ford territory, I did it. 🤙
Sweet!! Good to know 🤙👌
Anyone got an idea if the demister doesn't unlock after 3 presses
Hi mste, it's a little finicky. Make sure doors are all closed and locked, and radio is off to start with.. Try pressing the button the 3x at different speeds, very quick, or medium, or in between etc. Took me a few attempts aswell
I tried this and it works! My question is if I have a second hand remote, will it unlock my car and the old car at the same time if they're close by?
Hey mate awesome!
It happened to me... I programmed a spare remote from my car to mum's car.. and then what happened was it would unlock and lock both cars at the same time.
@@FordMercGuy is there any way to remove the first car?

@@FordMercGuy thanks mate! Would you happen to know how to do the learning cycle?
Hey mate no dramas, the learning cycle is what I have depicted in the video
Do you have to have the old remote key to reprogram it. Cause my old one broke can you program it just with the car key 🔑
Yes mate, it's just a pairing process. So you can pair any remote without any older remotes being present.
My old remote is not working then how to do it ?
Hi mate, it doesn't matter if old remote isn't working.
Just pair any new remote by using this method and you're good to go.

Is that works if u don't have old remote
It should work yes even if you don't have the original remote
WHT happens if old remote is buggerd?
It's no drama mate, it's not needed when programming a new one.
Make sure all the doors are fully closed. Certainly a frustrating one for you bro.
What if you don’t have the old remote
Hi Heidi.
It does not matter if you don't have the original remote. This method works for any remote you have currently and want to pair with the car 👍
Does repco sell these remotes
Repco and supercheap yes. Cheaper off ebay though mate 👍
Old key fob is fucked. So what now?
I just bought a BA Falcon and the key fobs on that one was the same thing internal circuitry was flapping around the contact buttons. So I've just ordered a new one from eBay and planning to pair that one to the car

@@FordMercGuy yes that caught me out, leaving key in ignition and trying both remotes lol
My ba must be different i got a transponder key
I believe you can get keys cut that have the immobiliser and also the remote access buttons all-in-one
Thanks mate
No dramas mate!!
Question does all bf falcons have this aux function plug behind the fuse box ?
All BA and BF Falcons should have it under dash mate.
@@FordMercGuy thankyou merry Christmas
