- Stephanie Vaquer was the topic of wrestling fans this past week as she opted to leave CMLL, and NJPW immediately, and join WWE, where she will start with NXT immediately. This shocked wrestling fans because two weeks ago, she was showcased against Mercedes Mone at AEW Forbidden Door. Why did she leave CMLL, and NJPW without honorable going out and drop her championships? Why didn't she sign with AEW, which was heavily rumored? And, why are wrestling fans so weird that they care so much about where someone works, and how much money they make? Also, AEW is rumored to be holding a major stadium show in 2025 from Dallas Texas. Are they ready to move All In out of London? A rumor killer on WWE allowing wrestlers to take trademarks out of WWE after they no longer work there. Cary Silkin blasts Tony Khan for his treatment of the current Ring of Honor product, and a look ahead to AEW Dynamite's 250th episode on Wednesday, plus a review of the major topics from both WWE, and WWE SmackDown. There is one thing that no one is talking about regarding the Stephanie Vaquer situations & it's a pretty significant detail: back in November AAA wrestler Cuatero was arrested for the attempted murder of his girlfriend Stephanie Vaquer. He tried to strangle Vaquer leaving physical marks on her neck. Why bring this up? Because half the male roster of CMLL & some of the AEW Mexican talent in particular RUSH have been campaigning to get Cuatero out of prison. You think she'd want to stay in the same company with the guy that attempted to kill her? Because I sure as hell don't.
So she picked the company Rush’s brother works at 😬
@@FinalOven_MintWait, so was Dragon Lee campaigning for it as well? That’s not rhetorical; it’s a genuine question. If not, then that doesn’t mean shit. You can’t call someone a hypocrite for working in the same company as someone RELATED to someone vouching for a guy who wronged you.
Jaxson Ryker/Gunner was supporting Trump during that protest period & his black half-sister called him out for it. Even if Lee did agree, it’s 1 wrestler. She doesn’t have to interact with him which is much easier than working in a company who has partnerships with companies with MULTIPLE wrestlers signed who are vouching for this guy.

So we don’t know Dragon Lee’s thoughts on Cuatero. Maybe he silently supports him, maybe not.
From outside looking in, I’m looking at Dragon Lee as the lesser of two evils though.

She signed with WWE because their women’s roster is absolute fire right now. There are opportunities that just don’t exist in AEW.

You guys should probably consider moving TNT to thursdays and call it thursday night titans so you can watch and review NXT. It is becoming the best show in wrestling. HBK is doing wonders for that brand.
Are there really any storylines to watch. Everytime I see there's an open challenge or a surprise return. No feud continues from one ppv to another. I know wrestling there is fantastic but is there any reason to watch?
It's just a dumb fun show. Does it have better story lines than main roster? no.
Does it have better wrestling than AEW? No.

What is the point of watching NXT when people come and go? The top talents aren't going to be in that brand longer because you never know when HHH will call them up to the main rosters. It's like HHH is raiding NXT talent roster.
We're not reviewing NXT bro we might get pay-per-view reviews from time to time but as far as a weekly review of NXT na bro nobody wants that and yes I said pay-per-view WWE trains you guys like a puppy to say certain words I'm not a fucking animal

Jim Johnston was the best creator for wrestling theme songs and nobody has ever came close to him whatever music they are giving us right now in WWE is not the same for example they changed bron breakers theme that he had on NXT Baron Corbin is another example along with a whole bunch of other wrestling theme songs hopefully next year we can get some decent music that we can all enjoy listening to this was a good episode of TNT now I am looking forward to the AEW review later tonight.☺️

In AEW Stephanie would have gotten lost in the shuffle. In WWE she will get a legit chance to be mega star given the lack of talent NXT has.

Sometimes predictable isnt bad but if nobody is expecting Priest to beat Gunther, how do we book around that? We had this outcome pegged before Wrestlemania, we get the outcome, then what? I think we need something to happen we cant just have simply Gunther pinning Priest and thats it onto the next match. Somethings missing its too predictable & in most cases when its this predictable, WWE will throw us a curveball. I just feel like if we get the outcome we all expect we're gonna be left with "thats it?"
I don't care or watch ROH but I do not like seeing ROH titles on AEW as I feel it dilutes AEW and makes their titles mean less. ROH titles should only be on ROH TV and on ROH primary talent.

Yes. ROH should be its own entity. It should be a developmental show. After all, ROH was always like this high school, preparing the students for College. They always had that mentality since the beginning.

I got the big feeling AEW might book Hangman Page to face Jeff Jarrett in a Texas Death Match at All In. The story is Hangman blamed Jarrett for his loss in the Owen Hart Cup finals, and took away his chance for revenge on Swerve.

Stephanie Vaquer did agreed to vacated her titles. That's a responsible thing if WWE won't let Vaquer finish her obligations with CMLL and New Japan. She's not going to take the titles to WWE, and dump it in a trash on TV to give an FU to CMLL. Besides, if she works those dates that CMLL and NJPW had advertised her, what if she gets injured before her WWE debut? That's what happened to Giulia when she was supposed to make her NXT debut at Stand and Deliver, but she suffered a wrist injury at Marigold.

I have to say if it wasn't for JD I would have gave up watching wrestling. I want to thank you JD for keeping that fire lit in me watching your reviews has kept that passion alive to watch keep watching wrestling. It's cool to finally get excited weekly to watch raw and smackdown again. I'm back to the point since Triple H took over has kept me on the edge of my seat and once raw and smackdown ends I'm ready for next weeks shows and the ppvs. I definitely need to get one of your new shirts JD.

Loved this episode of TNT with JD & the Solomonster plus they made a great point with Jade Cargill and Stephanie Vaquer and I have no doubt that with Stephanie this is exactly why Triple H signed her to WWE because of what they saw her do in AEW facing off against Mercedes and I want to see both Will Ospreay and MJF in WWE taking the world heavyweight division by storm imagine how epic that would truly be.

I preferred TK making ROH a developmental show, just as WWE NXT, place ROH on any available network, and put it on the same Tuesday time slot, so it can compete against NXT. That way it'll hurt NXT's ratings. TK should get even with HHH.

We have reached 57 episodes of Tuesday Night Titans. 🌃 Thank you, JD and Solomonster, for the topics between WWE and AEW. I saw NXT while listening to the podcast, and I can confess without doubt that the current development system is fantastic after nearly 3 1/2 years not watching it. 🇵🇷

2:41:50 speaking of the tv deal. They have 39 days for me. August 25th, the day of All In, will be the last day I will ever talk about a tv deal for aew if a deal isn't completed or announced. I don't want to hear about it, I don't want to talk about it. I'm moving on. AEW SHOULD NOT have to worry about a tv deal in the 2nd half of 2024. Their current deal ends in December. When does procrastination set in? I've been counting the days of a new TV deal being announced since April. After All In, I'm giving up and have absolutely no faith in aew being on TV or any major streaming service next year.
