I had a serious accident in an SD1 2.6 straight six. Off a motorway at 75mph - no barrier - 30 foot embankment and a nose dive into a concrete ditch. No airbags - lost a few teeth and severe bruising but I am still here. Engine block crushed down to 3 cylinders. Central locking unlocked. Fuel pump shut off. Car flipped upside down as well. Miracle we survived - no broken bones. Very strong cars with a nice long bonnet helped. I then had a Vitesse with the BTC suspension setup. Best handling car I have ever driven.

Those BASTOS TWR Rovers are the reason I fell in love with the Rover SD1:s I saw them at Salzburgring in 1985 at a ETC race there on our holliday trip trough Europe. I have had several cars and I still have one, and it´s gona stay. Love your video! Cheers from Sweden!

If we get rid of all the socialists/commies in politics mindlessly serving the WEF, then there'd be nothing stopping us from restarting British Industry and bringing back British Icons. The only thing that stops us today building a car of the 80s is progressive politics and before anyone says " Safety " yeah, they can be less safe but that's also a consumer choice.
