- This is how to spend 3 nights in Jasper National Park
In order of appearance
The Icefield Parkway - This world famous drive is probably one of the best in Canada. So many natural wildlife, viewpoint, waterfalls, hikes, glaciers and anything else you can imagine while in the Canadian wilderness. We immediately seen deer and bears thoughout out time in Jasper
The Columbia Icefield Adventours - We paid the $100 to walk the Athabasca glacier. It's easier one of the most famous attractions in Jasper National Park. Personally, as a Canadian it was similar to walking on snow so I wouldn't highly rate this but I can see the draw for tourists.
The Skywalk - The skywalk is a man made attraction that comes with your tour with Columbia Icefield Adventours. I believe you can pay just to go here but its an attraction you can skip. The glass walkway out over the Athabasca river is nice but the price is steep. There's lots of free amazing viewpoints along the Icefield Parkway and Jasper National Park.
Maligne Canyon - Malighne Canyon is a beautiful free walk you can take just outside of the town of Jasper. Here you can see the Canyon nature has craved out of 100s of years. Peaceful, nice and short (it only took us about 30 mintures to do)
Old Fort Point - Located just outside the town of Jasper is a short and easy hike you can take that give you amazing views overlooking the town of Jasper. We wanted an easy day and this was a perfect hike to take on. It took us about an 1 round trip.
Athabasca Falls - Along the Icefield Parkway is Athabasca Falls. This spot was busy but we easily found parking and took the short 10 minture walk to the falls. Definitely stop here if you're driving by. You won't be disappointed!
