Cube and Dub go way back, even before the Westside Connection days. Cube had his Lench Mob and W.C. had his M.A.A.D. Circle.
I really wish they would get back together, Westside Connection was one of my favorite groups man. Their first album “Bow Down” was a classic. I hate to say it but I doubt it ever happens, at least not with all 3 members. I could see Cube and WC being a duo but Mack 10 and Cube have a lot of bad blood between then that still hasn’t been resolved even after 20 years.
I saw an interview with Mack 10 saying that him and Cube literally haven’t talked in 20+ years. From what he was saying it was because him and Cube’s brother in law (Cube’s wife’s brother) got into an altercation and he beat the guy up, and of course Cube’s wife got mad about the situation and pretty much forced Cube to completely cut him off.
I don’t think Cube’s wife forced him to do anything. Cube is done fucking with Mac 10. They may have had some squabbles and beef before that. Also, Mac 10 is a real gangbanger so fighting is just part of the job. Even tho Cube talk his shit, I don’t think he really Gangsta like that. That situation may have shook him up as the person trying to stop the fight. These rappers don’t really be bout that life! He’s more corporate Gangsta where he shuts him all the way down and out of any of his money ventures.
