@@joesegretto6689 short time ago I happened to find a tossed out Sigma/ Martin acoustic guitar. Manufactured in Japan, maybe 1972 - '74. Two of the tuner's need replacing (found suitable matches on eBay). The Bridge needs some work, and strings can be replaced. I don't play guitar but it is a neat find! For a kind of hobby I look for electronics in dumpsters and curbside stuff!
@@j.lietka9406 You are right. Sigma used to be owned by Martin but split from them some time ago. I have a couple and they are very nice, very playable guitars. If you are buying, I recommend the older versions with the old logo on the headstock, very similar to the Martin logo. There are still some reasonably priced ones available on ebay The newer ones are fine too , made in China.
Your a great player Stefan I enjoyed the review and I may buy one of these guitars sounds great 👍
I will buy that guitar before christmas..it's around AED1,200 only here in Dubai. Sounds great with that solid sitka spruce top! Nice review.
Where & when was that guitar made?
Mine says made in Germany

Not this guitar it doesn't. Made in China.
@@mozartsmate6358 I thought Martin used to have some acoustic guitars made in Japan, then moved...to China or S. Korea... Thank you
