Awesome! So the puzzles I'm selecting for this series are between 1500 - 1700,. Most players have a puzzle rating that is roughly 400 - 700 points higher than their actual playing level, so players that are 1000+ should have a great shot at getting these correct. The reason for this is because puzzles are easier to solve when presented since you know there is a solution and some move that wins material, checkmates the opponent, etc. However, in a game it's harder to spot the tactic since you won't always know when the position turns into a "chess.com puzzle". You may be one of the rare players that has a puzzle rating 1000 points higher than your playing elo. This is great because your calculation skills are good, we just need to get you to a point where you're finding the right setups during a game. I am actually going to be posting videos very soon on what conditions need to be met in order to treat the position like a puzzle that will help increase your tactical awareness. Stay tuned my friend!
Hey everyone! Welcome to puzzle #4 of this series. Please let me know in the comments if you were able to solve it. Good luck!
Easy puzzle! These are good training vids, thanks so much! That term "zwischenzug" made me laugh, it sounds like a hard sneeze LOL.
@@SuperTrucker2019 Hey Super Trucker. Thanks for the comment and you’re welcome. Yes those German words are a little tough to pronounce!
