Reminds me of my favourite camera phone - Huawei p20pro. It had Leica lenses with the first periscope lens. It's rear camera pictures helped me place the Nikon dslr in the back of the cupboard. But you did look weird holding the camera back to front while taking a selfie picture as the front facing camera pictures were inferior to the rear cameras. Its wide angle lens was also not that good either. These issues were fixed in the p30pro but I feel the main camera pictures have never quite been as good until now with the Huawei/Xiaomi 13pro
This video was great for in-depth camera review, I wonder how it compares to Samsung Galaxy S23, planning to buy either one of them but I am very confused between whether to go for fast charging, in box charger, better battery and bigger display or for long run and better software experience
I was actually waiting with expectations for your review right now, and here is the master's elaboration🌟 😄 in just few videos of you i learned alot. i don't know you'll read it or not but thank you 🙏🏻🇮🇳 suggestion: please make more videos. like for example: using hohem isteady X2 with non ois,eis budget Android smartphone to check the stability etc
Weird juddering on the 13 Pro selfie cam. And the Leica emulations. Maybe it's a software issue? And 8K remains a gimmick. My 3 year old S20 can do 8K. It can also do 4K60 with the selfie cam, and Samsung's Portrait Video (bokeh) works pretty well. I just don't see any point in spending so much money for a questionable upgrade. (FYI, I always turn off EIS and use a Snoppa Atom2 gimbal)
Hi there I like your videos, I was planning to buy a Sony Xperia 1 IV for shooting my music videos what comparism would you make with the Xiaomi 13 Pro or what phone would you advice me for that matter!
For any kind of video shooting, still iphone is the best...and secondly s23 ultra. Sony have lots of settings to play with but still the end result can't come anywhere close to iphone or s23 ultra. So if ur intention is to shoot videos ans have the money for Sony, go n buy the iphone , you won't regret.
@@reneeberty That's depends on your budget, if you have the money for Xperia 1 IV, i guess you can afford the iphone 14 pro or pro max ( 256 GB minimum). Since Video shooting is the priority i will suggest to go for the 14 pro max 256 or 512 GB.
Apple does weird things with videos not in MOV format, if you edit on a windows PC should be fine. Apple always pretending there is nothing other than their products and formats.
Don't expect xiaomi to fix the camera issues jiter , lag etc . Most of the time the updates takes months to be released and even then are not ground braking updates . Also you don't get even monthly security patches
Thank you for the video. What I find most shocking and pathetic is that Leica lends their name into literal garbage Chinese phones like this one. I love Leica products and their history, long past time is amazing quality, contribution and all the innovations they have done throughout these past 100 years. But Leica is becoming a free for all money making machine lending their name to products that make no sense or are in any way worth their brand-name reputation, just to make a buck. The Leica that I used to be does not exist anymore, it's becoming a meaningless name with camera bodies made in Japan by Panasonic, most new lenses made by Sigma, and their name plastered in just about any phone made in China that's a wanna-be something. There is subpar mediocracy all across the board with the name Leica now, to the point that they are also co-branding other products like video projectors.. we will soon have refrigerator, vacuum cleaners and trash compactors under the Leica branding, whatever makes them an extra buck ..what a joke.
Wow..the inbuilt mic is absolutely crazy for the Xiaomi...it sounds like a boom mic compared to the note 20 ultra
Noticed it as well.
Excellent presentation here! This is how a film maker's review ought to be. Thank you.
9:47 Beautiful Footage You Got Right Here!
The quality of the hardware is so good.
Just wish an app was available to automatically even out the jitters and panning ghosting
Nice review,, i have the phone.. and enjoy using it

by far the best Xiaomi 13 Pro review out there!!!

there was an update and 1080p videos seem to play fine on mac, but still jerky in Premiere

@Simon Horrocks, please reply because I want to know too.
Ur video was really good..u should make one for just photography
Which xiaomi 13 version was that? Redmi note 13 pro or xiaomi 13T? RN 13 pro doesn't have leica here where I live
12:06 the video footage from the xiaomi looked clearly better than the note20
Hello, is possibile to shot 4k macro video at 24fps?
Macro mode is impressive
There is no 3.5 port. Is there a possibility to use a wired headset?
While filming 4K or using 0.6 the pictures get blurry and shaking

i think H265 encoder is bug if you film it in H264 it would be fine.

Snapdragon 8 gen 2 is decent. Snapdragon is crying right now.
There's a lot of stuttering in the videos.... How could they release this unfinished product?
