Peggy Carter is another example of how good writing can produce a strong female character organically, without them feeling forced or crowbarred into a story. She’s up there with Ellen Ripley, Sarah Connor and Dana Scully.
Peggy Carter is one of the very few strong welded females that I actually like, because she shows not tells what she can do and how to do it, but she doesn’t overdo it just to show off she does what she needs to do gets it done and moves on, but does it with a heart😊

I think the end scene from Endgame takes place not long after Steve returned to the 1940s. I'm sure he took the time to get rid of his Quantum Realm/Time Suit, find out where Peggy lived and travel there, all the while keeping his head down ("Look, Ma! Its Captain America!"). Then, Steve took a deep breath, walked up to the door of her house and knocked. The seconds must have been excruciating until she opened it... "Yes? May I help you?" she asked, taken suddenly aback by the man that looked strikingly like Steve Rogers. In that fleeting moment, her rational mind put any thought of it actually being Steve from her head, but that didn't stop her heart from missing a beat. Steve stood at her doorway and simply smiled. He had something to say, but it slipped his mind when he saw her face - not the face of the 50-something year old woman he had seen in the SHIELD base in 1970 or the heartbreakingly still face of the aged woman he saw at her funeral. It was the face he remembered just before he boarded the Red Skull's Valkyrie. For years after being revived, he clung to the memory of her dropping below him in the seat of the car at the end of the runway outside of the Hydra base built within an Alpine mountain. "S-steve?" The front door of her house that she had neglected to close in her excitement. The only thing that mattered to her was that Steve was there. Steve was alive. Steve was home. Hydra had been defeated. Hilter's Third Reich and the war in the Pacific was over. The only thing not right with the world was Steve Rogers. I know the screenwriters said otherwise but then the whole theory of how timetravel works in Endgame wouldn‘t make any sense. So in the main timeline she never saw him untill this scene

Then when Steve got her water and she stopped coughing, she started crying all of sudden, saying "you're back". So she forgot she was just talking to him, and thought it was there first meeting again, and Steve played along 👍😖 Also it was implied that that wasn't Steve's first time visiting her at the hospital, so she must've forgotten a couple times that he's been there 😔

No lie, as a soldier who has gone all over the world and finally found the girl of my dreams after coming back home, the end of Endgame made me shed a few tears.
I was 11 when I first watched Captain America and I was always sad steve and Peggy didn't get a happy ending then 8 years later turns out he gets a happy ending.
Here is the way I see it: In the main MCU timeline, Peggy’s husband probably was Chief Sousa because according to the MCU wiki, Peggy’s husband served in the Army during WW2 and Sousa served before joining the SSR. In the alternate timeline, Steve and Peggy get married and live out their lives until Peggy’s death in 2016 which prompts Steve to return to 2023. Agent Carter really should be revived so we can get more information that can finally untangle this messy and confusing plot that the Endgame writers have presented us with.
I know it'll be good to untangle everything but I say it's best we leave it at that. It should be left untouched and you can make your own interpretations of it
Steve actually travelled back to the MAIN timeline to marry Peggy. Since the stones were taken from that specific timeline and he had to return them there. Nothing confusing about that:)

Coconut32 So in Endgame, time is linear. ----------- the Avengers were always in the MAIN timeline when traveling to the past to get the stones. The only way you can create a NEW timeline is by taking away the stones from the MAIN timeline. (Just how Loki takes away the stone when Tony and Scott fail to take it for themselves. That creates a NEW and ALTERNATE timeline.) So the Avengers take the stones again and Steve has to return them. He travels through all those years through the SAME AND MAIN timeline that all the Avengers went through because that is where they were TAKEN from. Like I mentioned before, time is linear. --------- So, Steve is just bouncing back and forth from the same timeline. Including when he goes to the 1940s to live his life and going to say goodbye to his friends to give the mantle and shield to Sam after Peggy dies. Steve was always Peggy’s husband. His story is a constant loop. There was always Two Captains in the world. One Frozen and one hidden. Making it one of the most beautiful stories I’ve ever heard.
Great work but I feel as though you should have added in Peggy learning about Michael's death. It was a major turning point in her life as she most likely would have married Fred and tried to avoid the war completely if he survived.
13:18 I am a guy and this scene gets me every time... This has actually happened to me... I have waited too long, missed opportunities and have never got that dance that I really wanted.. On the other hand I actually had my mind in the right place at the right time and gotten that super romantic dance. In those moments you really truly DO feel like the only ones in the world... to me this whole story arc is one of the most real things in these movies. I think the reason why I like these characters so much is because I actually know how Steve Rodgers feels.. weird I know.

It was 2011. I remember 11 years old me feeling so heartbroken for Peggy. Then 8 years later, this hit me so hard in the feels. Steve finally deserved this after years of fighting. I couldn't have wanted a better ending to Endgame!

Yeah, we might get to actually see the establishment of SHIELD which would have been shown in S3 of Agent Carter if it hadn't been cancelled. Also, in 2021, we'll get to see an alternate Peggy as Captain Carter in the animated What If show coming to Disney+.
Well, Steve is a super soldier, Peggy is an International Agent, they both have significant leverage in multiple world Superpowers, one of which was very soon turned vehemently against Russia and the USSR after the War, I'm willing to bet that even if they didn't go to Siberia, kick Hydra ass, and break Bucky the fuck out of there, they at least put in a word to the U.S. government to try and extract a WW2 POW out of Siberian hands by some other means, political negotiation or classified exfiltration by U.S. or other Allied intelligence agencies. I'm sure as soon as Bucky surfaced as the Winter Soldier, and was IDed as Sgt. James Barnes, the U.S. government or interested party with connections to another super soldier (i.e. Steve) would've jumped at the opportunity to get friendlies out of enemy hands, especially one as lucrative as Bucky.
To all the old comment telling people that Peggy Carter was married by a soldier who was saved by Steve Rogers during the world war 2. I have a Theory; After watching Endgame. What IF that soldier IS Steve Roger and he alongside with Peggy fabricated that story when in actuality it was Steve that married her all along and hid the fact that another Captain America in ICE. His picture was never shown throughout the movies and remained a mystery until Endgame. That at end of Agent Carter TV series it was never revealed who peggy's husband really is. To have realize all along she had a good life with Steve Rogers. Now that's a story i d love to hear but sadly never revealed. Why hasn't this affect the time stream of all the past movies, why has nothing change when he was found sitting on the log staring and the man made lake after missing his time jump to come back... think about it..

A lot of people are confused so I'm just going to explain my version of what I understand. (This is from all the movies and shows and interviews I've watched) So In the main MCU timeline Peggy Carter lives her life without Steve believing he died. Only to later find out he was in ice and still young and healthy, sadly. But before all of that she had to live her life after the war (which is what the whole show Agent Carter is about). She ends up marrying Agent Sousa and having kids with him. She lives her whole life to then see young Steve still alive and kicking. She gets to spend short amounts of time with him until her death in 2016 (I'm guessing Sousa died before cause' we never saw him). At some point I know Steve had a small moment with Sharon Carter (Peggy's grand-niece) As she was suppose to be a love interest of Steves in the comics. Anyway years past and its endgame, Steve goes back in time to return the infinity stones not messing up the time line. He then stays back a little longer to create an alternate timeline where he meets Young Peggy again, dances with her and live out the rest of his life with her. Marrying, maybe kids and more. And in the alternate life she supposedly died at the same time again in 2016. Which is where Steve ends up going back to present time all old, and happy from being able to live his dream life with Peggy. He then passes on his shield and role as Captain America to superhero, Falcon. And with not much clues to this but I'm guessing he lives his old life in present time, since there's nothing left but his friends and teammates. Anyway I hope that clears most of it up for you guys. This is all the information I have but if you still have questions I'll try to answer them.

In agents of shield they save him but keep the cover of him being dead however agents of shield and the MCU are now on different timelines because of the executive producers and writers not telling the writers for agents of shield how endgame would play out meaning AOS and the MCU are now in different timelines/universes..?
@@1243fad But the movies DO align with the Shows IF you see the timeline as the SAME, and not Alternate. She was ALWAYS married to Steve, albeit his time traveling older self. She just Omitted that fact in her Smithsonian Interview. Roger 1.0 gets frozen in the Ice in 1945, Carter works as an Agent of SSR and it later becomes SHIELD in 1948. Steve 2.0 pops into the timeline in 1949 and lives a life outside the spotlight (marriage and kids) while his 1.0 self is still frozen. Carter has her interview and LIES that he is in her life. (Technically, since Steve almost died several times, and saved himself it is technically true that Captain America saved her "husband". As it was true that 1.0 WAS still frozen. This was the plan way back in Winter Soldier. For those who wonder about how Steve Rogers/Captain America returned the six Infinity Stones at the conclusion of _Endgame_ and about the secret life he afterward spent with Peggy, there’s an online “FanFiction” story entitled “The Infinity Stones Return: Captain America’s Final Adventure.” This story is written in the form of a heavily detail plot-summary for an eight-episode mini-series. The first episode takes place before Captain America (hereafter called “Cap” for short) begins his journey, and shows Professor Hulk rebuilding the time machine and Scott Lang (Antman) volunteering for the initial test run. Afterward, Doctor Strange explains why the stones have been placed in the briefcase and reveals that the Tesseract, Orb, and Sceptre have been shrunken down to fit in Cap pockets and will be re-enlarged after he arrives in the past to re-contain their respective stones at the proper time. maybe unpopular opinion but i love peggy & sousa. they really cared about eachother and if he’s the one she marries before steve goes back and changes her timeline, i think she’s still missing out on an important part of her life.

I thought something.. What if the MCU timeline is an alternate reality of another timeline? Maybe that explains why Cap appeared that way in Endgame instead through the time machine.
In the main timeline (Not the MCU timeline) Everything happened exactly as we saw in the MCU timeline and the Captain America of that timeline went back to the 1970s of MCU's timeline. Tha explains why Peggy was married and have kids and as I said the way Cap appeared in the end of Endgame.

And Steve needed to be kept a secret to preserve the timeline so no one could know he came back, not even Sousa so Peggy probably gave him the excuse of she was dedicated to S.H.I.E.L.D too much and didn’t have the time..? I don’t really know. But it had to have been some excuse for Sousa to still believe there was a small bit of hope getting back together with her. Also it’s Steve Rodgers, Captain America, one of the very few who is worthy to wield Thor’s hammer. He wouldn’t change the timeline, despite HYDRA, despite the so many deaths he could prevent he wouldn’t change it. And honestly he couldn’t if he wanted to be able to sit on that bench as an old man, it needed to be a timeloop with a persevered timeline. As Deke Shaw’s explaination of time travel and how time works, is time is constantly flowing in one direction like a river, you throw a few sticks it- it’s fine. You throw too many sticks in and you create a dam which effects the flow of the river to create and new path. That “dam” so-to-speak, is where timelines diverge and the future needs to be rewritten, because like Fitz said the future is written and nothing can change it- except a metaphorical dam. So therefore, a timeloop has to happen. And at the point of 55’ they were still on the main timeline just in the past, it was the robo’s staying behind that created the dam. So, in the main timeline Steve went back using the pym particles that were intended for his return to the present, but instead he used it to jump to Peggy somewhere between 1947 and 1953.
That last 1940s isn't alternate. It occurs meta-before the sacred timeline was broken into multiple, after it was written into one, and specifically allowed by Kang the Man at the End of Time. Did you forget dream Peggy from Age of Ultron & Captain Carter's appearances.

I was so bummed, when Agent Carter was cancelled. It was such a good show! I was so happy, that Cap and Peggy lived a happy life together, in the end. Avengers Endgame made me cry a lot. Two of my favorite characters die (Iron Man and Black Widow) and one lives a life he was deprived of for so long (Cap). Good stuff.

Right! I was doing the math in my head as the timeline was going on and in that scene she’s supposed to be in her fifties! She looked so young and it did kind of distract me when in the very next scene she’s given the X Men treatment and aged up from looking 20 or 30 ish to 70 ish.
the only classy female in the MCU I always wished would have her own female lead movie (I'm just sad that abc cancelled Agent Carter, it was awesome). a great example of how to cast a strong female character not just because she is a female, but because she doesnt make her role all about herself, she always puts team work abov her herself (similar to WonderWoman in the DCEU)

Also it’s Steve Rodgers, Captain America, one of the very few who is worthy to wield Thor’s hammer. He wouldn’t change the timeline, despite HYDRA, despite the so many deaths he could prevent he wouldn’t change it. And honestly he couldn’t if he wanted to be able to sit on that bench as an old man, it needed to be a timeloop with a persevered timeline. As Deke Shaw’s explaination of time travel and how time works, is time is constantly flowing in one direction like a river, you throw a few sticks it- it’s fine. You throw too many sticks in and you create a dam which effects the flow of the river to create and new path. That “dam” so-to-speak, is where timelines diverge and the future needs to be rewritten, because like Fitz said the future is written and nothing can change it- except a metaphorical dam. So therefore, a timeloop has to happen. And at the point of 55’ they were still on the main timeline just in the past, it was the robo’s staying behind that created the dam. So, in the main timeline Steve went back using the pym particles that were intended for his return to the present, but instead he used it to jump to Peggy somewhere between 1947 and 1953.

12:30: my theory is that Peg is actually hallucinating and re-living when (old) Steve returned to her after Endgame. I always see so many people claim they did her dirty when making her an old lady in winter soldier... But wtf did you expect? She's OLD, unlike rogers, she wasn't frozen in ice. If anything, her role in winter soldier and civil war was very important to the story and Rogers as a whole.

Peggy Carter is another example of how good writing can produce a strong female character organically, without them feeling forced or crowbarred into a story.

I think the end scene from Endgame takes place not long after Steve returned to the 1940s. I'm sure he took the time to get rid of his Quantum Realm/Time Suit, find out where Peggy lived and travel there, all the while keeping his head down ("Look, Ma! Its Captain America!").
Then, Steve took a deep breath, walked up to the door of her house and knocked. The seconds must have been excruciating until she opened it...
"Yes? May I help you?" she asked, taken suddenly aback by the man that looked strikingly like Steve Rogers. In that fleeting moment, her rational mind put any thought of it actually being Steve from her head, but that didn't stop her heart from missing a beat.
Steve stood at her doorway and simply smiled. All the world seemed to melt away. The SSR. Her family back home and their letters. Howard Stark's occasional phone calls. The front door of her house that she had neglected to close in her excitement. The only thing that mattered to her was that Steve was there. Steve was alive. Steve was home.
Hydra had been defeated. Hilter's Third Reich and the war in the Pacific was over. The only thing not right with the world was Steve Rogers. As they slowly danced, Peggy closed her eyes for a moment that - finally - all was right with the world...

I was 11 when I first watched Captain America and I was always sad steve and Peggy didn't get a happy ending then 8 years later turns out he gets a happy ending.
Here is the way I see it: In the main MCU timeline, Peggy’s husband probably was Chief Sousa because according to the MCU wiki, Peggy’s husband served in the Army during WW2 and Sousa served before joining the SSR. In the alternate timeline, Steve and Peggy get married and live out their lives until Peggy’s death in 2016 which prompts Steve to return to 2023. Agent Carter really should be revived so we can get more information that can finally untangle this messy and confusing plot that the Endgame writers have presented us with.
I know it'll be good to untangle everything but I say it's best we leave it at that. It should be left untouched and you can make your own interpretations of it

the Avengers were always in the MAIN timeline when traveling to the past to get the stones.
The only way you can create a NEW timeline is by taking away the stones from the MAIN timeline. (Just how Loki takes away the stone when Tony and Scott fail to take it for themselves. That creates a NEW and ALTERNATE timeline.)
So the Avengers take the stones again and Steve has to return them. He travels through all those years through the SAME AND MAIN timeline that all the Avengers went through because that is where they were TAKEN from. Like I mentioned before, time is linear.

Great work but I feel as though you should have added in Peggy learning about Michael's death. It was a major turning point in her life as she most likely would have married Fred and tried to avoid the war completely if he survived.

On the other hand I actually had my mind in the right place at the right time and gotten that super romantic dance. Well, Steve is a super soldier, Peggy is an International Agent, they both have significant leverage in multiple world Superpowers, one of which was very soon turned vehemently against Russia and the USSR after the War, I'm willing to bet that even if they didn't go to Siberia, kick Hydra ass, and break Bucky the fuck out of there, they at least put in a word to the U.S. government to try and extract a WW2 POW out of Siberian hands by some other means, political negotiation or classified exfiltration by U.S. or other Allied intelligence agencies.
I'm sure as soon as Bucky surfaced as the Winter Soldier, and was IDed as Sgt. James Barnes, the U.S. government or interested party with connections to another super soldier (i.e. Steve) would've jumped at the opportunity to get friendlies out of enemy hands, especially one as lucrative as Bucky.

I have a Theory;
After watching Endgame. What IF that soldier IS Steve Roger and he alongside with Peggy fabricated that story when in actuality it was Steve that married her all along and hid the fact that another Captain America in ICE.
His picture was never shown throughout the movies and remained a mystery until Endgame. That at end of Agent Carter TV series it was never revealed who peggy's husband really is.

A lot of people are confused so I'm just going to explain my version of what I understand. (This is from all the movies and shows and interviews I've watched)
So In the main MCU timeline Peggy Carter lives her life without Steve believing he died. Only to later find out he was in ice and still young and healthy, sadly. But before all of that she had to live her life after the war (which is what the whole show Agent Carter is about). She ends up marrying Agent Sousa and having kids with him. She lives her whole life to then see young Steve still alive and kicking. She gets to spend short amounts of time with him until her death in 2016 (I'm guessing Sousa died before cause' we never saw him). At some point I know Steve had a small moment with Sharon Carter (Peggy's grand-niece) As she was suppose to be a love interest of Steves in the comics. Anyway years past and its endgame, Steve goes back in time to return the infinity stones not messing up the time line. He then stays back a little longer to create an alternate timeline where he meets Young Peggy again, dances with her and live out the rest of his life with her. Marrying, maybe kids and more. And in the alternate life she supposedly died at the same time again in 2016. Which is where Steve ends up going back to present time all old, and happy from being able to live his dream life with Peggy. He then passes on his shield and role as Captain America to superhero, Falcon. And with not much clues to this but I'm guessing he lives his old life in present time, since there's nothing left but his friends and teammates.
Anyway I hope that clears most of it up for you guys. This is all the information I have but if you still have questions I'll try to answer them.

In agents of shield they save him but keep the cover of him being dead however agents of shield and the MCU are now on different timelines because of the executive producers and writers not telling the writers for agents of shield how endgame would play out meaning AOS and the MCU are now in different timelines/universes..?

Roger 1.0 gets frozen in the Ice in 1945, Carter works as an Agent of SSR and it later becomes SHIELD in 1948. Steve 2.0 pops into the timeline in 1949 and lives a life outside the spotlight (marriage and kids) while his 1.0 self is still frozen. Carter has her interview and LIES that he is in her life. (Technically, since Steve almost died several times, and saved himself it is technically true that Captain America saved her "husband". As it was true that 1.0 WAS still frozen.
This was the plan way back in Winter Soldier. Even if they never played out the scene in MCU, they had always had him going back though some time travel loop hole (maybe explained in a comic if not in the MCU itself)

For those who wonder about how Steve Rogers/Captain America returned the six Infinity Stones at the conclusion of _Endgame_ and about the secret life he afterward spent with Peggy, there’s an online “FanFiction” story entitled “The Infinity Stones Return: Captain America’s Final Adventure.” This story is written in the form of a heavily detail plot-summary for an eight-episode mini-series.
The first episode takes place before Captain America (hereafter called “Cap” for short) begins his journey, and shows Professor Hulk rebuilding the time machine and Scott Lang (Antman) volunteering for the initial test run. Afterward, Doctor Strange explains why the stones have been placed in the briefcase and reveals that the Tesseract, Orb, and Sceptre have been shrunken down to fit in Cap pockets and will be re-enlarged after he arrives in the past to re-contain their respective stones at the proper time.
In the second episode, Cap visits the Ancient One in 2012 who uses the combined power of the six stones in the briefcase to cast future-dated spells that will make the 2012-2014 timelines reset themselves once the time-heisted stones have been returned to their proper places. Afterwards, she transports to the roof of the New York sanctum where she gives Hulk the original version of the Time Stone after first putting on a performance act of initial resistance and surprise to ensure he understands to importance of returning the stones afterward. She then reclaims the returned-version from Cap’s briefcase.
In the third episode, the Mind Stone is put back into the re-enlarged Sceptre and given back to the Hydra goons. Shortly thereafter, the first timeline-reboot spell takes effect and returns Loki and the Tesseract back into custody while erasing everyone’s memory of the wayward events. Nevertheless, the Ancient One then briefly senses the timestamp signature of the variant Loki just before he is captured by the TVA, leaving her and Cap to wonder if the villain will ever return.
The fourth episode has Cap shooting forward to 2013 where he re-teams with the Ancient One to return the Reality Stone and Thor’s hammer to Asgard. The timeline is then likewise reset afterward to erase everyone’s memories.
The fifth episode has Cap shooting forward again to 2014 where he and Ancient One return the Power Stone/Orb to the temple on Morag after first making a brief but necessary side-trip to Knowhere. The sixth episode then has Cap being sent to Vormir where, in order to return the Soul Stone, he must first contend with a temporarily freed Red Skull and a temporarily resurrected Natasha Romanoff.
The start of the seventh episode reveals that, with the two 2014-stones returned, the timeline has also now been reset so that everyone’s memories have been erased and that exact duplicate/replacement versions of Thanos, Gamora, and Nebula have been created to take the place of the original versions who jumped forward to 2023. Before then travelling back to 1970 though, Cap first reveals to the Ancient One that Doctor Strange had previously placed a charmed spell over Cap’s aura so that no one in the past would be able to recognize who he really is unless he wants them to. Hence, Peggy would be able to see Cap in his true form whereas everyone else would see him as somebody different. This would then enable him to easily change his name and assume the identity of a former G.I. whose unit was rescued by Captain America during the war as per the reference in the Winter Soldier film. This also then explains why the younger Cap didn't recognize his older self at Peggy's funeral during the Civil War movie.
In the last part of this seventh episode, Cap returns to 1970 and puts the re-enlarged Tesseract containing the Space Stone back in the vault, then proceeds up to Hank Pym’s lab to put back the four replenished vials of Pym Particles. Upon arriving in the lab however, he is unexpectedly intercepted by the TVA. The final episode then has Cap being recruited by the TVA to fight the Red Guardian in 1984 before being allowed to return to 1946 and live happily ever after.

maybe unpopular opinion but i love peggy & sousa. they really cared about eachother and if he’s the one she marries before steve goes back and changes her timeline, i think she’s still missing out on an important part of her life.
In an AU, she's "missing out". But in the main timeline SGE still gets Daniel. So in my opinion is the best of both worlds.

I thought something.. What if the MCU timeline is an alternate reality of another timeline? Maybe that explains why Cap appeared that way in Endgame instead through the time machine.
In the main timeline (Not the MCU timeline) Everything happened exactly as we saw in the MCU timeline and the Captain America of that timeline went back to the 1970s of MCU's timeline. Tha explains why Peggy was married and have kids and as I said the way Cap appeared in the end of Endgame.

And Steve needed to be kept a secret to preserve the timeline so no one could know he came back, not even Sousa so Peggy probably gave him the excuse of she was dedicated to S.H.I.E.L.D too much and didn’t have the time..? I don’t really know. But it had to have been some excuse for Sousa to still believe there was a small bit of hope getting back together with her.
Also it’s Steve Rodgers, Captain America, one of the very few who is worthy to wield Thor’s hammer. You throw too many sticks in and you create a dam which effects the flow of the river to create and new path. That “dam” so-to-speak, is where timelines diverge and the future needs to be rewritten, because like Fitz said the future is written and nothing can change it- except a metaphorical dam.
So therefore, a timeloop has to happen. And at the point of 55’ they were still on the main timeline just in the past, it was the robo’s staying behind that created the dam. So, in the main timeline Steve went back using the pym particles that were intended for his return to the present, but instead he used it to jump to Peggy somewhere between 1947 and 1953.
That last 1940s isn't alternate. It occurs meta-before the sacred timeline was broken into multiple, after it was written into one, and specifically allowed by Kang the Man at the End of Time.

I was so bummed, when Agent Carter was cancelled. It was such a good show! I was so happy, that Cap and Peggy lived a happy life together, in the end. Avengers Endgame made me cry a lot. Two of my favorite characters die (Iron Man and Black Widow) and one lives a life he was deprived of for so long (Cap).

the only classy female in the MCU I always wished would have her own female lead movie (I'm just sad that abc cancelled Agent Carter, it was awesome). a great example of how to cast a strong female character not just because she is a female, but because she doesnt make her role all about herself, she always puts team work abov her herself (similar to WonderWoman in the DCEU)

He didn't go and change any part of history. He always was married to her. In this MCU timeline, Steve from the future had already gone back and married peggy, while the current steve was frozen, then he was thawed out, went on his own time heist, and did the same thing, married peggy.
In the current mcu timeline, we had Two Steve's at Peggy's funeral

As a Brit, It always throws me off when there's characters with British accents in movies or TV. It was only when the WHAT IF teaser game out that I realised Agent Carter was British! I don't pick up on the accent, because it just sounds natural to me.
