The thing I like so much about metal is that it's soooo flexible, in the sense that you can mix lots of genres with its elements to achieve a great sound. For example, Yngwee Malmsteen incorporates the shredding part of metal with classical scales and stuff.Or Steve Vai, with his shred and jazz fusion.Or Tom Morelo and his special metal guitar effects with hip hop. When I listened to this video, I was surprised over just how much it sounds like what he did in Megadeth. He hasn't changed at all

Who said J-pop never had any crazy guitar parts? Aside from the vocals, the guitar parts are one of the reasons why I like this genre along with blues, rock and metal.
When Marty started studying Japanese right around the time he joined Megadeth, I think he saw Aki-chan on a Japanese tv broadcast and liked her. I know that one of the writers for either Young Guitar or Burrrn! have Marty some of her CD's as a present once. And so this is why you see that clip now. Maety will often do interviews in Japan in a mixture of Japanese and english. Good on him.
Just because they don't understand Japanese language culture and language, they deemed this duo "shity" just because.... one is Rock and one is Enka? Shallow people I see on the internet. Tbh it is great to see Marty diversify and experimenting with tons of style, it was what a artistic endeavor is, not just usign one genre and beat a dead horse until the moeny stop pouring in.

この人もともと演歌出身じゃなくてクラブ歌手なんですよね
やっぱりジャズから入ったせいか、リズム感がしっかりしている。
これだけ変則的なものにも合わせられるのは素晴らしい。
ちゃんとメタルのリズムに合わせて抑揚を付けているのが凄い。
