I hate divorce! I hate it with all my heart. I grew with a divorced mother. My mom did her best but it was hard growing up without a father. My father was absudive, alcoholic and a cheater. I grew up not knowing what it means to have a man in your life or how to treat a man. I actually grew up fearing men and having a negative outlook on them. The default was to become too socially aware from an an early age, too independent, mistrustful of people and pretty much a loner. I'm still single at the age of 32 and I fear settling down and getting married. This is the result of broken families and absuive parents.

Don't be afraid to get married. My parents divorced after 25 years of mariage. I am married now for 40 years. In mariage you always learn to give and take. Every day.
Because you have gone through the divorce of your parents does not mean that your distany is the same.
Your heart is now close to meat a partner, just close your eyes and open it , let your heart speek and open your self for the rigth partner.
May Allah SubhanW Ta'ala opens many beautifull doors for you in your life.

Do you realize the main difference of why women chose to stay in horrible marriages in the past was because women couldn't support themselves. Now, women can support themselves. So are you saying that the statistics only show women are leaving for happiness only or now women can afford to leave and couldn't in the 70s
the divorce statistics are still way to high. The more divorce increases in a community it breaks down society as a whole with broken families. Its a sign we have to make healtheir choices and not rush into marriage. Divorce is for extreme cases and the last option
it's men fault not women stop manipulating women be grow men this it doesn't fixe anything women suffer for the c century know now they can move on because if they are independent

Since the State law and not the Shara law is enforce, i would encourage marry nikkah only. The kufr system, the deciever system is taking over. Those who are too attach to the dunya yoiur eyes can see how they ehave.
