- we ge very special food at namdroling monastery. we can take as many food as we can eat. we also get different types of fruit with lunch. thank u penor rinpoche for such a special food.

I am not sure if they are Tibetan monks. Secondly at such an early age these kids opt to be monks. So my question is, who decides forba kid to be monk? Is it the parents or kids themselves?
They all are not Tibetan monks, these kids are from Nepal, northern Indians, Bhutanese, sikkim and very different places. At this age they we brought here to study and after completing they can do what ever they like. Some monks doesn't have parents at all and some some have single parents. With difficulties of ongoing life they came here as monk as we are provided free fooding, clothes, lodging and also we we get little amount of pocket money
