  • For this edition of the Data Cloud Diaries, we are now digging into the Mapping of Standard Salesforce Objects and Custom Data.
I show using the Data Bundles to bring in Sales Cloud Objects (Accounts, Contacts, Leads) and show their mapping to the Data Model Objects (DMOs).
Then I expand on my previous imported file from Amazon S3 and setup the mappings to Individual, Phone, and Email Objects.
This video is in the Data Cloud Diaries Series.

Hi @stevetecharc, I know these are probably dated by now but very helpful to see and hear how these processes work. I noticed that in this video that the primary out of the box matching has the Account ID (Primary Key) also mapping to "Sales Phone." I noticed something similar with Contact ID where it is mapped to Business Phone, Contact Email, Mailing Address, etc. I know I am very new to all of this but that had me scratching my head. Have a good day and thanks so much!

    Hi @stevetecharc,
Thanks for the good explanation. Here, In the Account object you mapped the Account ID to the Party of Contact point address, but in the Contact object you are mapping the Contact Id to the Party of Contact Point Address. how it works, you are mapping Account id and Contact Id to Same Party there should be same Id right? Could you please explain this?
    Thanks!

Hi Steve, thanks for your explanation. I need to deploy a SF CRM Bundle into more than one data space, the process works ok for DLOs, DMOs and mappings, but when I check the relationships they are not present when I deploy to a new dataspace, but they are ok for the default data space. The Key Qualifier (for foreing-keys) fields for DLOs in the new Data Space are also missing, and then I suppose this is the reason why the relationships disappeared in the second data space. Is there a way to replicate the whole data model into two dataspaces ? Thanks.
