  • Enjoy my latest data-filled presentation on the 2024 election. My opening remarks take about 25 minutes and then there is another 35 minutes of discussion. The bottom line - in every imaginable, four months before voting begins, I would much rather be us than them.

Me too. I have to take breaks periodically or I’d go crazy. It’s really like we’re in an alternate universe. Even 20 years who would believe a twice impeached x-president would be a viable candidate to run again. Then you have to consider his criminal trials. Even though it was a civil case, he was found to be a rapist. He’s soon going to be found guilty of trying to affect the outcome of an election. Cannon needs to be dragged off the bench by her robe. SCOTUS needs to have the balls to to rule he doesn’t have full immunity. They shouldn’t have taken the case to begin with.

The first 25 minutes of this video should be posted EVERYWHERE!!! Very inspirational. DEMS have a LOT to be proud of. We all need to stand up and make the case for Biden. I agree that it is BECAUSE of his age that he has been able to lead us through hard times. He's made mistakes and learned what works and WHAT DOESN'T. He hasn't been distracted by "shiny objects" or taken the bait to engage when there were other more important things to tend to.
Joe Biden has been dedicated to his family as his first priority - and yet, MAGA has been relentless in their attacks. He reportedly said that neither Hunter nor Ashley would have been harassed if he chosen not to run. He has put EVERYTHING on the line for this country because he knows what is at stake.
I am very grateful and awed by Biden's sacrifice and perseverance.

As it turns out, I don't know any former GOP women that will vote for Biden. However, I was a lifelong Republican, and thought I was going to die a Republican. Both my father and grandfather were lifelong Republicans. But I became a Democrat in January 2021. And would have done so two months earlier had I realized that one could switch parties online, without an extra risk of getting COVID-19. So I can tell you that there are former GOP men who will vote for Biden so I assume there are also women who will do so, particularly after Roe v Wade being overturned.
It appears to me that Trump is well past his high tide mark of 2016 where he was able to win the election by minus 2.8 million votes. Trump can only win if there are enough people who want a dictatorship, but didn't vote for Trump, but will now vote from Trump because they belated realized that he is a real dictator want-to-be.

I just have to give Obama the edge. If I could choose between the two to be the next president it wouldn't be a tough choice, Obama without hesitation. @amylarson2980 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@michaels5217 You are entitled, certainly, because I loved Obama also. The ACA saved me when I needed healthcare. HOWEVER, Joe Biden has tons more experience than Obama (Obama was a little short in government experience) and it really showed during these past 4 years, especially with the pandemic. But, Biden saved the United States TWICE in the last 3 years that no other President could have accomplished since FDR. His incredible knowledge of how to use the system to save small to medium businesses during the pandemic, as well as protect employee wages was the greatest gift this nation has ever known, and is WHY we are so far ahead of the G7 with inflation coming way down. Honestly, Obama was a great guy for civil rights, but Biden has always been the brains combined with experience, with levels of 50 years in Washington that is simply unprecedented. He knows every single capability to get things done, every back road, every strategy, every method, how to coalesce across the aisle, applies every Congressional law, and he uses it along with his administration to rebuild this nation in the best possible way. The problem is ~ he makes it look so easy, that people think he's not doing much. But I will give a $50 gift card to the individual who can accurately tell me the two SAVEs that Biden did to protect our country from catastrophic economic collapse and failure, of which we would be digging ourselves out even now. If Trump were in charge, we would have lost everything and gone over the cliff. If you cannot cite chapter and verse, you need to research these two achievements further before Nov. 5th. What he did was extraordinary and spectacular, but he is not a hornblower and will never enlighten you. You need to realize it for yourself. Not only does Biden believe in the 'power of the people', but he believes in their intellect as well.

His moral clarity was so refreshing. Yes, it started Oct 7th, no you can't use past events to justify rape and murder, no I'm not going to argue, If You don't like this, You can leave. Simple direct, no argument but a declaration or right and wrong.

I love your optimism. I think we need a new Constitutional Convention. It has happened before. We can't just rely on congress. They won't reform themselves. There are even too many Democrats on the take. There are too many corporations and billionaires trying to influence our government. The average citizen has no voice. I live Oregon, democracy functions here. Our legislature actually met this year and pasted bipartisan legislation. They have tried their tricks and they didn't work because the voters wouldn't let them do their crap. They know the voters won't allow it. Democracy can work.

As a Canadian, I have been so concerned for my American friends and family in the US, worrying that first Trump won’t be held accountable for his crimes in recent years and then, that he makes it back into office. Listening to your reasoning about why he won’t win the election in November really helps me feel a great deal less anxious , so thank you! America must overwhelmingly vote BLUE up and down the ballot! So much rides on this!

Adam Mockler, who is Gen Z, says social media isn't real life. And you shouldn't assume how Gen Z is going to vote based on social media. Those aren't my words. Those are his words. You forget that 15 youth organizations endorsed Biden this year. This summer, Gen Z activists are doing a summer tour to mobilize their peers all over the country to vote for Biden and the Democrats. Biden is doing better with young voters than you think.

I watched this video --- I'm an educator who researches education --- all systems --- By the end of the video I KNEW how this person was educated --- I ran to look him up --- sure enough Waldorf - I was right - Would that we in education get that the interweaving of moral development along with education is critical for creating humans who function with the highest levels of empathy. And Simon --- your voice is more critical than the sporadic releases you do ---- you are a voice that NEEDS to be repetitively heard --- I hope you release with greater frequency during this critical election year.

I’m a 50 yr old entry level postal worker with a B.S. in Environmental Engineering, and more debt than assets, including a 15 year old student loan. I am also a lifelong Democrat and thoroughly agree with your analysis of the threat MAGA represents with Trump. I agree spiritually with your description of American democracy FDR helped to usher in. Our economy today is the best I’ve seen in my 35 years of working, and after decades of low inflation, what we’ve seen has been a long time coming. Nobody could’ve stopped it, only manage it.
That said, 50 years into a concerted effort by the decadent rich to lie and steal from those less fortunate has shrunk the middle class, and the resultant corruption had already stolen our democracy, more so for those of us working harder every day just to stay out of poverty. One paycheck away from homelessness.
I’m writing this as a warning to those of you who take away from this video a belief that all we have to do is get back to where we were and life for everyone will be wine and roses. I voted for Bernie before I voted for Biden, and that was before Trump got infamous from Birtherism. The Great Recession, jobs going to China, and the Iraq war were the source of great dissolution that gave us the three way divide killing us today. Two groups of which are unwilling to admit that the choice we are faced with is Capitalism or democracy, but you can’t have both.
Those who have been doing well want to blame the ignorant and lazy. Those who have been continually frustrated by a failure to attain the comfort of wealth (aka the American dream) blame everyone but themselves, and then there are those of us who bought in long enough to know the rat race is killing us, which we have now witnessed is truly upon us.
In short, my fear is I’m saving the broken system that gave us Trump when I desperately vote for Biden. But the change we need won’t come from stopping MAGA. We need to be honest that what we had only gave us a glimpse of what is possible when freedom, cooperation and opportunity are universally applied.
I’m sure most of anyone who reads this will disregard my words as impractical socialist utopian dribble, but when you do so, and then see another MAGA maniac running and winning in 2028, consider that MAGA, or Bernie Bros, aren’t the real problem, just a symptom of your unwillingness to see Capitalism is incompatible with democracy.
