Hello from Canada I'm 28 years old with a love for bonsia. Potted trees are beautiful and fascinating. I really enjoy the challenge and seeing what I can create. Thanks for the video and motivation!
Greetings, I’m from Malaysia, a tropical country…..I’m from a hill where azaleas thrive, I’ve spent the last 1 month watching your videos, totally loves it! I really hope to learn more from you guys, hope you’ll be able to guide me, I’m the only one in my hometown that wish to get into Satsuki bonsai! I wish if possible to invite you guys to my hometown, it is a mountainous hill around 1300ft from sea level, one major concern for me, azalea here seems to flower all year round, I can’t differentiate after flowering trim and or spring trim, because tropical country are usually rain or no rain, really love your video!
What is the key to get growth of that length? Almost 30cm maybe on Kotaro? Of course climate, but is it a variety thing? Not pruning at all for a long time? Full sun? Lot's of fertilizer? Does finer ramification, prevent long growth? These all come off the main trunk? I have very short growth on some of my satsuki, 0.5 to 2cm, for many years without pruning. Only sometimes a longer shoot that comes off completely at the base. These are in the ground, not pots. Keep the interesting videos coming! More audience will come, I believe. Maybe talk to someone about better titles and thumbnails? You need clickbait on TH-cam. I hope you can understand my complex English. I cannot express this in Japanese. Good job!
Thanks for the comment. The Satsuki in this video was pruned to the point of losing most of its leaves around March this year. That means those long shoots grew in about 6 months. There are two key points to producing long buds. One is to improve the physical condition of the tree. The first is to improve the health of the tree by replanting it correctly and making sure the roots are healthy. The other is to reduce the number of buds by pruning more at the right time. By distributing the power of the entire tree to fewer buds, each bud will have more strength. Next time, I'll show you how the Satsuki looks planted in the ground. I will try to improve on the title and thumbnail. I hope you will continue to watch my videos. Thank you.
@@satsuki.channel Ah yes, those shoots grew after a hard prune. Yeah that makes sense. I have many azaleas, but the satsuki grow very slowly in comparison. This is without pruning. Especially the varieties that come from Japan are slow. But my grow season is also shorter. Ah, title and thumbnail are probably good. I just saw very few views with good content. I had hoped satsuki is more popular on TH-cam. And I just watched this video yesterday by Veritasium on clickbait/titles/thumbnails: th-cam.com/video/S2xHZPH5Sng/w-d-xo.html Maybe you did select a good thumbnail already. Sorry for the criticism. The title I think is maybe not so good for the TH-cam Algorithm. Something like "Easy way to design satsuki azalea bonsai" No one knows what a good title is. But the 'talk' and 'play' are a bit vague. Of course you talk about societies and age, but that is not good for the title & algorithm. Don't try to accurately describe the content of the video in the title. Try to catch attention and entice a click. Bonsai wise, I would be interested in when wiring is applied in the development of these trees.
Hello. Thanks for watching my video. I would be happy to give you any advice I can give you. As for the video conference, I am not good at foreign languages and I rely on automatic translation for all the videos here. I find it difficult to do simultaneous translation on video. On the other hand, if you send us photos and have specific questions, we may be able to answer them. Please use the instagram message: instagram.com/suga054/?hl=ja
