I see lots of playlists containing mostly just popular vocaloid songs with less effort than this one (they all sound the same) have like 9 times more views than this 😭😭😭😭
to be fair, they're probably more accessible to a wider audience. hardcore, metalcore and speedcore are also a bit more jarring to the regular jpop listener. sometimes people are more interested in nostalgic feelings or becoming familiar with the most popular songs rather than diving deeper into vocal synths as a genre, and that's okay! :)
I have my last exam tomorrow, it'll be in a form of an online test and the time limit for it will be exactly 40 minutes. It's like this playlist was made for it.
i usually spend a few weeks/months collecting songs based around a theme, draw art relating to the theme/songs, download the songs, put them in sony vegas in the order i want, upload a test version to youtube privated to make sure nothing is blocked in all countries, then make the text, intro/outro/animations, anything extra, render it and put it in adobe after effects to add stuff like waveforms and any other visual stuff vegas can't handle. usually takes like a week or two to complete the video (excluding song collection process)
