- A Q&A with Ramy Youssef of RAMY. Moderated by Jenelle Riley, Variety.
Ramy Hassan is a first generation Egyptian-American who is on a spiritual journey in his politically-divided New Jersey neighborhood. Ramy will bring a new perspective to the screen as it explores the challenges of what it’s like being caught between a Muslim community that thinks life is a moral test and a millennial generation that thinks life has no consequences.
Ramy is a 10-episode half-hour comedy series written, executive produced, created by and starring Ramy Youssef, executive produced by Jerrod Carmichael, A24’s Ravi Nandan, showrunner Bridget Bedard and co-creators Ari Katcher and Ryan Welch, and produced by A24. - บันเทิง
ramy has that "it" factor. very charismatic. also, the show is wonderful. great interview!
Totally agree and the show has so much heart and emotion. Just wish I could show it to my family but it is a bit too full on at times. Hope ramy gets tonnes of exposure in the future.
There’s so much I could say about this show, I could write a full on review. Firstly, I love the scenarios in this show and the truthful stories that they bring to life through each character, especially in season 2. I find it so honest and it’s hilarious. It also has made me ponder on and question my own ideas of morality and right/wrong by watching such taboo subject matters played out from the perspective of Ramy and his family. Also, the entire cast is amazing and I would watch every season. Love this show 🧡💜💚
love the series. the second season is even greater. i love how Ramy portraits an unlikeable character, both universally relatable and inconceivable
Amazing Ramy
i love this dude so much, couldn’t agree with someone more then with him. like he truely talks about what is in my mind
Great job Ramy
Sounds interesting but wish it was in Netflix!
