R.I.P to Prodigy. Your music will live forever brother. I would love to hear a follow up or remix to this like a "Give Up The Goods part II" feat Havoc & Buckshot (of Black Moon). A Havoc-Buckshot album would be on point. I can hear Buckshot killing this beat.I also wished that Mobb Deep & Tha Dogg Pound (Daz & Kurupt) could have done an album together before Prodigy passed away. Havoc & Daz both doing the production for that album would have been epic. I still feel Havoc & Daz can still do business together.
Whenever I listen to this song, especially the beat, I shed a tear. It makes me think about today's society, how time flies and you have wasted time on bullsh-ts, those who are no longer with us in this world like P and illuminate us. Its a song bout the streets and survival and although I have not lived it, it makes me think that it is worth continuing to fight for happiness and give everything for the real ones. RIP P, blessings to Havoc and thx Q-Tip for giving a beat that hits the heart. i don't know who i would be without hip hop... 🙏🏼
Some of the greatest production ever... They could’ve dropped an instrumental version of this album like ghostface did for supreme clientele...that’s how great this album is production wise...

I always play the intro on this song several times. It was so well done! I'm proud to say that my first Hip-Hop show was Mobb Deep's Infamous album release party (L.A. version) I won the tickets from the "Radio Check" show on 92.3 The Beat (KKBT) back in 1995!
I play this at work and it gets such a great response from all kinds of people, they go out of their way to tell me they love it or ask for the name. This beat is universally dope.
For some reason the song reminds me of 2002/2003 Winter, because I got my license and was driving in a 1990 Toyota 4-Runner. All Winter in the cold and snow, I would listen to Nas - The Lost Tapes, and Mobb Deep.
