I've used over double the amount of soap sometimes when staining is absolutely terrible, the clothes have come out as if i had just bought them, my guess is you had a bad experience with a single tide pod and decided to stick with cold water and no soap, no wonder you mess around on commercial washer vids, you probably don't even know the voltages they run on, let alone how to reprogramme them
Sir but for clothes like with ornaments..... It is never recommended to put it directly in machine, as with the ornaments come in cobtacts with the drum there are multiple chances of ornaments breaking or coming out from their original position. Better to use Net bags..... Or at least you can turn the garments inside out... On top of it while putting these types of garments in the dryer ,there is high chances of the beads coming out from the garments especially when it is glued one.

Garments r floating that reduces friction contributing to shrinking. Special soaps & conditioner used. Results is what counts..
