Monthly reset with me! A full expense breakdown all what I spent last month including my girls trip to Vegas breakdown and budgeting for next month for the first time ever... we'll see how this goes... And of course, my monthly grocery, fridge and pantry restock. Not too much because I am leaving the second half of April!

Do you guys set budgets for yourself?!
I don’t budget. I pay our house bills & whatever I need or want I buy it.
My 10 years in Manhattan I spent a ton of money. (I’ve donated entire wardrobes to charity.) Here in Connecticut there isn’t so much to buy & honestly I have everything I need. I’ve saved a ton of money here too since there are two of us paying the bills. We paid off our mortgage years ago & I don’t have kids or a car.
To tell you the truth I never think about money. But I like seeing what you spend. Good vlog. 😎🇬🇧🇺🇸👍

I need to start budgeting again. It's hard when prices are ridiculous, especially on groceries for a family of 4 (2 adults, 9 year old & almost 1 year old) 🇨🇦 .. something to work on for sure

Hi sara, another video about your finance break down! I love it! You are very inspiring! Hubby and I are doing our best trying to budget as we purchase our dream home in the summer and then got a puppy right after! So we are doing our best to save money! As our kids are almost going to college and have to save up for that! Keep up doing the great job for your budgeting living alone! ❤❤❤

I think your beauty product should go in the self care cavtegory.
I don’t break out each expense from one trip, if the trip was mainly groceries it goes under that category, but if I bought mostly skin care stuff and maybe a food item here or there, I’d put it under self care!

I categorize the trip as a whole and not the individual item so since it was mostly groceries, that’s what I put as the expense category!!
Use baking Soda to get the stains off your counter
I used that for a big red wine spill before! Haha
Food is so high. $108 at Wally World and no meat/fish 😭 TFS!

It sure is! What I could get back when my son was a toddler is only a 1/4 of what I can get now with my daughter soon to enter her toddler stage. My son's 9, so in 8 years, the prices on foods have gotten beyond ridiculous, makes eating out sadly a bit more affordable 😢
