my green anole has been brown ever since i brought him home. the temperatures r right and i have the right setup for him. i did just bring him home a couple of days ago. idk if its stress? has this happened b4 to anyone??
Yes, mine are sometimes green, sometimes tan, and sometimes brown. They often go back to green in the middle of the night when they’re asleep. It used to make me nervous but I think some of this normal behavior for them. Plus, if yours are new they need a good amount of time to acclimate to their new situation, so a little bit of stress is to be expected. As long as the temps and humidity are correct and they’re eating and pooping, I wouldn’t worry yet. Just give them some time and they’ll get used to their new home. But the fact that you are worried shows that you’ve done research and that you care. Don’t hesitate to let me know if I can answer any other questions. 😀
i found this video so relaxing honestly, you have the type of voice that could literally pull someone out of a panic attack
Thank you so much.
I love your anole videos, they are an underappreciated species and one of my favorites.
😊 Thank you so much
Tank looks awesome, love your channel!
Thanks, I really appreciate that.
HerpTime is an awesome anole channel. His collection is insane. He has a real talent for workinv with anoles
I love his channel. One of these days I might get some Cuban Night Anoles.
Sweet!!!
I have the same hexagonal shape tank which houses a crested gecko. I’m looking to get a green anole in the future.
Oh you should. Anoles are really fun.
