Hello sir I'm facing this problem.There is no junk in the charging jack, then I changed the data cable and it shows fast charging but no percentage is increasing, and the type c cord of the data cable is getting hot.

Probably the cable that has dirt in it, at least thats what Xiaomi told me when my phone almost caught fire and the charging port burned. Xiaomi refused to change the port on warranty, although I had problems before that with fast charging/charging and tried three different original cables. They wanted to bill me approximately $100 to fix it..... Bought a charging board online instead and i'm planning on changing it myself. Just changed the battery on my old note 7 just because I liked the camera and plan to use it as a camera/mp3-player.
