Makes no sense to have a “genius” challenge where the categories are geared towards them. They’re supposed to be geniuses because they know everything, not just their niches. Also know your key audience is under 45. Pre-90s questions are stupid.
I get blah blah you can know stuff before you were born but it's different going up against older guys who watched that era live. It's such an advantage. Some is fine but this was crazy.
Need an incentive for the Geniuses to do well before the final round. If they don’t beat the top challenger after 2 rounds, challenger gets a lifeline in the final round.
Really fun show! Just EVERY single question is 80s-90s for some reason -> makes the very boring guests who don’t say a single word look like they know nothing -> Kirk and Brandon just bashing them the whole time! Fire show 🔥
This show sucks. I get that the geniuses are smart, but the game is so tilted towards them it’s crazy. If they’re that good they should beat everyone in a fair game. Every question is 20 years old and the contestants should get their own category as well at the end instead of having to beat them at what they know best. Don’t think I’ll bother watching another episode
Just to sum up all the top comments I've seen on this episode: I'm well under 45 and still know all of these "strictly 80s/90s" questions (I'd know 'em if they were 70s/80s or 60s/70s as well); Kirk and Brandon wouldn't bash me the whole show (or at all) b/c I don't think I'd give them an opportunity to do so; I knew all six of the "Q&A" guys, I knew all 10 of the "Name That Guy" dudes, I'd have lasted longer than all three of them on every one of "The List" topics, and I knew each of the first six questions in the final round. Whoever made the decisions to bring contestants on this show should never be in that position again, because they selected the wrong guys.
@@uneedamuracleyes I was writing down possible guesses, my first time playing I was having a hard time remembering some obvious ones so I just wrote down a bunch off the top and crossed them off as they were guessed
@@cademadson1035 That’s what I figured, buddy. In the original Dozen show, you’re not allowed to do this. Jeff is too lazy to specify his rules so the viewers just flat out don’t know what you are allowed to do and not allowed to do. If it’s legal for this game, obviously writing down as many as you can think of would be optimal strategy. I appreciate the response.
I’m done watching this. I didn’t know the show was strictly 80s/90s. If they’re such geniuses then they shouldn’t have to be catered to
See you next week!
Lol

Like, I get sprinkling in older questions. But why is literally every question at least 20 years old?
Because the 80s and 90s are conveniently the only sports categories the “geniuses” know
I get blah blah you can know stuff before you were born but it's different going up against older guys who watched that era live. It's such an advantage. Some is fine but this was crazy.
I swear they treat it as if these guys haven’t watched any sports since 2010 lol mix it up Jeff
Because kirk and brandon are man babies
It’s not sports trivia if it has nothing past 2010. Should be at least 30-40% questions from 2000-present. Super lame
Man if Adam knew the lore, Kirk gave away the Jim Thome answer
Trent, Kenjac, and Big Cat

Introducing The Geniuses!!!!!!! *as long as it’s 80s & 90s related*
Glenn Robinson was drafted in 1994
yeah this is wild with the aveage age of the "experts being mid 40's" and all the questions being athletes in the 80's-early 00's
For the grid, you should color the two- pointers yellow.
They have 20-30 years olds playing and are asking constant 80’s baseball questions. Jesus
Kirk writes Ellis and gets a point, Cade got the wrong first name for Archuleta and did not. He should’ve just wrote Archuleta
Dale Ellis question is a tad misleading. He had a second stint with Sea as well.
Why have the two absolutely most entertaining rage monsters as geniuses and make 90% of their answers matter 0%?
Brandon go 1 question without shitting on the other team challenge!
Please do this again jeff i need to audition because these guys suck
How do you audition? I don’t remember hearing anything the first time
@ i didnt see anything about it but i hope they do it again next year
First three categories were impossible unless you’re 45+ years old
@ I’m 27 and would’ve gotten 18 like klemmer in first round. I think i could’ve gotten 0 points on all the lists and still beat these guys score
I mean what a joke, beating 3 guys who peaked in the 90s at their Niches is just down right impossible
During the list round theres just way too many dings
Could go for 90% less weird Klemmer finger
Why cant they drop their markers on their white boards
Incredibly too much baseball trivia on this show
3:18
Should do a pop culture trivia with the younger barstool members ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Why did Glenn Robinson and Jason Kidd have different draft years? That messed me up
The list is almost punishment. boring to sit through. They always get it all and it's really anti climactic.
I'd be fine with it if they didn't give the hints like the normal dozen bonus round
@@danprokopenko agreed.
Why are all these questions 80s or 90s....

How does no one ever know if their up
U had to put in u missed 90s superbowl
Bryce was told wrong answer on the second list but didn’t say anything?? Was the name edited out?
still misusing apostrophes
Why does Klemmer love the Mets but always has 90s red sox bs as his category?
Jeff says some dumb ass things like “perfect barbed wire tattoo “
Literally told my wife those are words that never should be in the same sentence…
This show sucks and is so boring. Had to turn it off early, subtract 1 from the view count

Cade was annoying
he stinks
What was he writing down? List of who was said? Or list of guesses he had? This show is a mess lol

@ of course. Jeff was awesome throughout the process and I had a fucking blast.
Absurd.
Adam with the most clear cheating of all time in the lists 😭😭😭😭 not even good acting
Jeff still gets paid to be a host?
The "That Guy" category kinda sucks. The guests had no idea who any of them were and I'm guessing 99% of the viewers have no idea who any of them are
Yeah that’s the result of Jeff catering to the senior citizens competing every episode
This category would be fine IMO if they kept it 2010+ cuz then anyone could feasibly have seen the player.
yup, might as well change the category title to “that guy from the 80s-90s”
absolutely hate klemmer.
