Thanks for your reply Alex. Can u be more specific about which model do u use or would suggest? As i can see Zhiyun has released a new model WEBILL LAB. I have been using dji products which makes Ronin S my first choice but if u think that Zhiyun is better than surely i will consider it before making the final decision. Im really enjoying your videos alot. They are fabulous. Everything about them is so nice. The colours, the angles, the shots, the editing and the feel. Keep it up. U r doing an inspiring and excellent work.
I actually use the original Zhiyun crane, but there are newer models like the weebil lab, crane v2 etc.. My original crane is excellent and I still use this over and above the Ronin s.. The main reason I still use the crane is because it’s light, it might not be the best or have any additional features like the crane v2 or Ronin s but it fits in my backpack, has batteries you can swap out and is light and very easy to use! I think it’s down to personal preference, I wanted to like the Ronin but it’s just heavy when using it for long periods of time! Thank you so much, your kind words really do mean a lot 🙏🏻
This is amazing! Beautiful footage. The editing and color, this is all NEXT LEVEL stuff! I think your videos just keep getting better. A question though - how do you manage/balance time with the family and with the footage capture? Are you filming all the time, or can you hang out as well? It would be a great video to see how you balance your time with the family and capturing footage. I think as guys, we probably have a tendency to try and get as much footage as we can and lose part of the magic being present?
Thank you so much Dave for the amazing comment and for watching 😀 It can be hard sometimes but when using a GoPro it’s really easy to film and have fun at the same time, plus I often give the GoPro to the kids to film stuff so they feel like they are involved... But also having a story board helps, so if you plan for the shots you want and need, it removes the element of needing to film all the time, so you get what you need then put the camera down 😀

I saw the "storyboard video" that you made a while back, but I never considered that it would apply to family vacations as well. Thanks again!
Absolutely, most of the time you will know what sort of thing your kids will be doing while swimming etc, so plan around it! Give them the GoPro which they will love then when you check the footage there will definitely be at least 3 seconds worth out of the 20 minutes they recorded that you can use 😂 But yeah, storyboarding can be applied to all situations especially family holidays as that’s the best way to maximise time with your family instead of filming as much 🤙🏻
