You will be in shock the first few days, Street dogs, street kids, poverty everywhere, poor infrastucure, people standing in lines, especially if you venture outside of Manila. But after a week you will adjust and then you will see the beauty of Phillippines. There is a lot of negative there but don't dwell on that, enjoy the good parts. It's never too late to go enjoy the Philippines, just have an open mind.

GOOD QUESTION! My daughters proclaimed, DAD she could be our SISTER! She is still their sister and I had to move on because she was not a match for me even compared to some of these stories, too young even at 16 years age gap. My advice, choose an older Pinay that declares they don't want kids or marriage unless you are absolutely into that. 99% percent of Pinay will tell you what you want to hear with that dream in their heart hoping their love can change your mind.

Great question. I ment my girl friend here in the Philippines when she was 19 years old. I'm 18 years older than her. I thought to myself this girl is so hot and beautiful and I'm so much older then her, there is no way she's going to stay with me. Some younger , handsome guy with more money is going to come along and steal her away from me.
Well 13 years later we are still together and we are happier than ever. I still wake up every morning and breakfast is already made for me. She treats me like a king.

When it comes to the age gap and how friends and family react. My older sister that was born and lives in America and never has been to the Philippines and doesn't understand the culture said when I first got with my girl friend she's only with you for your money and she doesn't love you. My parents where like don't put your heart into it ,she's very young. Just enjoy yourself and don't take it seriously. My brother was like wow I'm coming over to find me one. Most of my guy friends in America are cool with it and say if they can ever get away from their over wight bitching nagging wives that they can't make happy they would be here. All of my friend girls in America just don't get it.
I have decided to live her perrmently in the Philippines because the Filipino culture is different and they get it ,they don't judge you. According to my friends that I have ment here over the years in the Philippines, and have married and took their Filippina wives back to America tell me that the American culture doent get it.It's very hard for them because everyone is very judgemental towards them. Many younger guys in American are always trying to hit on their wives and American women are very rude and judgemental towards them.
