Any chance you could not use the music though? I've seen.some great videos that just have the sounds of what you are doing, but slightly enhanced. Even my 6 year old likes them.

But I want to ask you a new invention:
A racing timer, That counts seconds when i walk from the start point and stop at the end point. (maybe with sensors where i can trample on)

An accelerometer mounted on your ankle, hip or wrist should work for that without requiring a sensor that you step on and all the problems from mounting it
Edit: this answer gives you a personal timer. If you want a race track with build in timer I'd use a break beam sensor (a laser aimed at a receiver, detects when something Interrupts the beam.)
Use NRF24L01 wireless modules to link both stations together or build the project directly on ESP8266 wifi modules.
They be programmed with the Arduino IDE and don't need an additional arduino.

Project 1: Non Practical Safe, should be made from Stainless Steel.
Project 2: Use the computer Switch to connect Fingerprint system, rather then putting a hole to add a switch, also I prefer it to be connected with the PSU rather than 18600 Batteries.
Project 3: Instead of cutting the Jumper Cables, you could've Stick the Arduino flipped with a Double sided Tape.
