We can go round and round about what ails these neighborhoods, but a couple of things jump out at you when driving through any low income area. First, is dozens of 20 and 30 something year old's standing around in the middle of the day instead of working, and second, vehicles that cost as much as the house it's parked in front of. Laziness and the inability to manage your money is NOT the governments problem, yet every year we dump billions of tax dollars into communities similar to the ones in this video HOPING it will make a change and of course it doesn't. At some point people have to change themselves. I'm part owner of a Tampa area business and we are constantly short on personnel. 20.-$25. /hr. start with overtime available and these are not rocket scientist positions. I'm going on 30 years now in management and the dilemma of trying to find people willing to work is only getting worse.

KING and that list is based on Tampa Bay Area. Not the city of Tampa. The city of Tampa usually #1 2 or 3 out of big Florida cities in the murder rate every year. I feel completely unsafe in north east old west and central city Tampa. Matter of fact the police just got shot at and killed a man in East Tampa. Idc tho I can tell you’d never be able to come to Tampa hoods the way u talk. We don’t do all that talking and it’s sad how quick violence spark in Tampa Florida (NOT TAMPA BAY)

This neighborhood looks much better and much cleaner than cites in California. Here in California cities are looking more like a 3rd world country slums where we have the highest number of homeless encampment, trash dumping everywhere and not to mention crackheads overtaking the cities. Trust me florida is much cleaner than California.

We can go round and round about what ails these neighborhoods, but a couple of things jump out at you when driving through any low income area. First, is dozens of 20 and 30 something year old's standing around in the middle of the day instead of working, and second, vehicles that cost as much as the house it's parked in front of. Laziness and the inability to manage your money is NOT the governments problem, yet every year we dump billions of tax dollars into communities similar to the ones in this video HOPING it will make a change and of course it doesn't. At some point people have to change themselves. I'm part owner of a Tampa area business and we are constantly short on personnel. 20.-$25. /hr. start with overtime available and these are not rocket scientist positions. I'm going on 30 years now in management and the dilemma of trying to find people willing to work is only getting worse.

@@Shawn-il4cw I know they are demolished. I was there when it was done and watched them be rebuilt, but they are still Section 8 housing and it is still the hood. Just a prettier outward appearance.
