Exactly! If you become an acting department head, you have 12-18 months based on reviews from Congress or the House, PERIOD. But you have got to be confirmed at that 12 months to keep your job.

If he's going to complain, he should be complaining that her position is not constitutional. There is no constitutional authority for a Secretary of Labor. Being a Republicans, and not a Conservative, of course, he doesn't care about that. He only references the Constitution, when he thinks he can use it against someone, or protect his own job with it.

Listen to what she is saying. She was confirmed as deputy and is by default, from the director leaving, is not just "Acting" but THE Director and does not need to be confirmed. What a crock of shit this administration is. Get her out of there!
