@ruiddd956, well, I like to add a few things. When Putin started the partial mobilization in late September 2022, over 700000 Russian men in the drafting age immediately left Russia. I was visting Israel in late September and early October in 2022, and in Tel Aviv I saw really many young men, who spoke Russian. I can't speak Russian, but I understand a bit Russian so I know, when somebody is using Russian. For those Russians, who have Jewish relatives, it is very easy to get the citizenship of Israel.
There has been some voluntary people. who have enslisted to the Russian army, but often Russia is offering a handsome signing fee plus a good salary. The highest signing fee, that I know been used in Russia recently, was 11000 euros (it was naturally in Rubles but I changed it to euros). If there really would be masses of voluntary people enlisting, naturally a signing fee would not be needed. If a Russian soldier would die, then his family would get at least in theory a compensation, which was nearly 80000 euros. This would be is a nine years' average salary in Russia. But not every family have got this compensation.
Russia has tried to get the foreign workers in Russia to enslist to the army by promising the Russian citizenship plus a good salary. This citizenship might have come true, but the salary is usually coming a bit unregularly.
Russia has also recruited people abroad to the Russian army. Especially the Syrians and Nepalians have often agreeded to enlist (perhaps 30000 of them). However currently many Nepalians have already left the front. The Russian officers have mistreated them and the salary hasn't come in time.
So You can see, that the Russian army is currently close to an army of the 30-year long war, where a big part of the armies were mercenaries from different countries. And Russia's possibilites to pay them enoughly might decrease in the long run. Keep in mind, that even the Russian gas giant Gazpro made a loss of seven billion dollars in 2023. Glory to Ukraine !
