    Panaracer Smoke tires! Haven't seen them in a while, but I have fond memories of them because they were on my first "proper" mountain-bike when I got it around 1992/1993. They hit the sweet spot for me in terms of grip, comfort, and handling corners off-road. Zippy and fun. I have high hopes that when you finish building this bike, it's a real treat for you to ride.
