You certainly should go and visit palestine (not the Israeli side) and then come to your own conclusion. It is not as complicated as people make it out to be. They are just too afraid to choose the right side. My Mom's whole village was destroyed because of settlers that come from God knows where and as a result she was born in a refugee camp. My father's whole family suffered from it as well. How are we Palestinians free when we can't even walk 5 minutes without having to go through military checkpoints or even have to go through military searches and raids (IN our side). They Daily expansion of Israeli settlements in PALESTINIAN SIDE. Freedom doesn't mean only practicing religion. The Palestinian Christians exists too, and they go through the same treatments as everyone else. We can't even have an airport or decent water line. We can only enter or leave if they give us permission in our own country. How is this not an Apartheid? And yes they did have a nuclear weapons program and thats part of why they chose not to drop the bomb on germany. Fear of nuclear retribution. Japan also had a nuclear weapons program however it was extremely small to the point that it never progressed past lab tests and had been mostly abandoned by the time America dropped their bombs on August 6th and 9th. Meaning they also had time to see just how much damage they had caused and chose to drop a second bomb. As a matter of fact japan had been trying to come to peace terms for a while. The Soviets had been part of the allies since 1941 (also the time they started working on a nuclear program in response to the german invasion) and were gearing up to declare war on the japanese with the states which they did on August 8th after America had dropped the bomb on Japan. The pressure this and another nuclear bomb forced Japan into a surrender on August 15th 1945. The soviets used this opportunity (the bomb) as they were also extremely behind on nuclear weapons only blowing up their first nuclear bomb successfully in 1949. 4 years after the war. So if japans nukes were basically one guy rubbing two pieces of uranium together in a lab by himself while considering surrender. The germans had surrendered 3 months back. And the russians were 4 years out from even being capable of dropping a nuclear bomb it is cut and dry that they didnt need to drop it even if they were the first to develop it And im not even gonna touch on the Palestinian piece enough people have already spoken the truth there
When you say that it's not about the people, hmmm... People have power that they don't use, because they are manipulated by the media and those same governments. If people understood how much their word is worth and that it carries power in itself, maybe they could change things that are not working. But people are preoccupied with their own survival and struggle in life (because of these same policies), so they don't have the strength for revolutionary thoughts and actions. I think that's how peace activists got lost. But that's just my humble opinion and a little remark. Love your reaction as allways.

I actually defended you giving you the benefit of doubt coz most people weren’t well read on the apartheid and occupation there. You are a smart guy so I actually did expected that from you, specially when you said that you read a lot about it. Anyways moving on to your thoughts on America’s role in the world war 2 and now. I think you seem to not make up your mind, you seem to call them out on somethings they have done which actually should be enough for a smart person like you to understand their moral standards. Please don’t ever justify America’s decision to use the atomic bomb. Collateral damage is cunning way to justify there modern warfare. You said you’d rather America be the super power than anyone else. But I would say from the option you said America is the worst, I think the best way to go about it is to understand which not ideology opposes killing of innocent people! Pls check the latest polls when different groups of people were asked if it was okay to kill innocent people in certain complicated situations and it was one group of people who overwhelmingly apposed the killing of innocent civilians given any circumstances. That’s the kinda group or ideology everyone who wants real peace and prosperity in the world should be supporting! I salute people who do their research and call out this system for what it is.
