I have heard that Houston is one of the best places to shop for vintage in the united states and Thriftcon is the biggest thrift convention so of course when Thriftcon travels to Houston I HAD TO GO! I got some of the best vintage tees I have purchased at any Thriftcon!

I get the whole premise of buy/sell, and that you have to make a profit but the whole “getting the lowest/homie discount, lowballing” vibe of this style of vid getting old. Much prefer the come ups in the wild like at the bins and thrift.
Don’t think Jacob has ever paid anyone the price they’re asking.
I mean you have to realize he makes his living doing this kinda stuff. I would assume the business he has done with a majority of the people in this place get him prices much lower than other customers would get.
@@dakbeck8426 his attitude when doing business with people puts me off. Jacob acts as if he is doing these people a favour by lowballing them.
@@tnw782 i don’t know if it’s really like that. i can see why it comes across like that, but we don’t truly know the interactions between these people off camera. they’re both making money on each piece, that’s all that matters at the end of the day.
